Last (probably) big update till new commander comes out. Swapped out Kodama's Reach for a Selesnya Signet I have a lower concentration of basics and an extra rock just seemed good. also swapped Mosswort Bridge for Bala Ged Sanctuary  ^Flip getting a random free elephant most of the time isn't as worth of a land that can sometimes be recursion, Karn's Bastion was cut for another forest, after playing it a few games, tapping to proliferate just never felt worth the cost and I'd rather just have another colored source in my lands. Fortified Village was cut for Ondu Skyruins  ^Flip as being the worst dual land, deemed having an emergency wrath is just more necessary. Return of the Wildspeaker swapped in for Shamanic Revelation on average I end up with 1 or 2 bigger creatures vs the 6 or 7 creatures I'd need for revelation to draw the same rate + the instant speed over sorcery is nice and random overrun is eh but cool to have if ever needed. Akroma's Will was put in place of Akroma's Memorial having basically the same effects at instant speed (+ a 7th instant speed mass protection) is basically the same as a clunky artifact as when you cast it you're usually swinging for lethal that turn anyways instead of risking a potential blowout if they have a Shatter effect. and lastly Call of the Herd came out (i know sad, but found the elephant token spells just aren't worth it as they've slowly been cut out over time) for Harsh Mercy a Janky on flavor board wipe that leaves my board in tact.

also slowly been foiling out all the cards in the deck that CAN be foiled cause shiny thing invoke terror ~

There needs to be some other effect that would allow the card to be cast from the graveyard. For example, if Call of the Herd is in your opponent's graveyard, you can use its Flashback cost to cast it.

Card seems nuts with Restore Balance , Wheel of Fate , and Ancestral Vision . That also gives really good synergy with As Foretold and/or Brain in a Jar .

The trick is finding a win condition that's a sorcery with CMC < 4. Maybe burn spells like Blightning ? Token makers like Call of the Herd , Call of the Conclave , or Supply / Demand (which also tutors)? Mill might also be viable using Breaking / Entering and Glimpse the Unthinkable .

I think to get the most out of Trostani, Selesnya's Voice's populate ability, I would focus more on things that produce bigger tokens instead of a various 1/1s. Cards like Advent of the Wurm, Giant Adephage, Feudkiller's Verdict, Penumbra Wurm, Rampaging Baloths, Beast Attack or even smaller ones like Call of the Herd, Call of the Conclave, Blade Splicer would imho go much better with the population theme.

Jam more Thragtusk. More Beast Within. Disruption, tokens, lifegain. Interacting with your opponent doesn't sound as good as an infinitely scaling threat, but is mostly a stronger option.

Rhonas's Last Stand is the newest interesting thing for the archetype, giving some much needed early power.

Mercy Killing doesn't sound great, but is almost playable. Wolfbriar Elemental is similar.

Then we get to the janky stuff. Call of the Herd or Mouth // Feed, perhaps, Pulse of the Tangle or Cobra Trap. Things to stop you dying to early creature drops. Giantbaiting into Second Harvest is a fun option. It of the Horrid Swarm or Miming Slime exist. Mitotic Slime is obnoxious if you can proc it. Ooze Garden can be a lot of fun. Slime Molding seems interesting alongside song/ Spore Swarm/Sprout Swarm

There are also weird rebuild options like Prototype Portal/Soul Foundry with artifact creatures and golem tokens, elf tribal, Khalni Garden/land token generation builds. Lots of cards, nothing that has shaken the world recently. Good luck with the build.

Try running some more efficient ramp like Rampant Growth and Elvish Mystic. Thragtusk, Call of the Herd, and Scavenging Ooze are some pretty solid creatures that shouldn't be too hard/expensive to find due to their recent reprints in modern masters 2017. Also, you don't have any white mana producers besides Servant of the Conduit and Cryptolith Rite to help cast Oath of Ajani, so I'd probably cut that from the deck.

Some other solid and accessible monogreen cards you may want to consider are Ant Queen, Acidic Slime, Nissa's Pilgrimage, Overrun, and Sakura-Tribe Elder

I also felt like The poachers was the weaker of the two decks mainly because all of the removal only basically starts on turn 4 and the creatures you're putting out aren't as big. The reason I didn't make this a "beast" deck was because I didn't feel it was specific enough so I looked at elephants, rhinos, crocodiles, snakes and the like and steered clear of soldiers, shamans, monks and other subtypes which was a tough restriction lol. (and yes there are 16 creatures but there's also Call of the Herd). You're right about Africa being a huge place so is there a more specific region you would refer to?
