I have a soft spot for Fynn, he's a budget-friendly, slapdash commander with a big axe. This is my 3rd iteration of Fangbearer, I'm playing him slightly slower than my earlier versions, lessons I've learned from the previous 2:

1 - Fog is your Friend Your aim is to tag an opponent 5 times, this is a small number so it's tempting to rush in - axe whirling overhead. Sometimes the cards fall your way and the 1/1's get the job done before a pillow fort blocks their way. However, if it does work Fynn Decks can run out of ideas real quick. Running multiple fog effects buys you time to fish out a couple more evasion pieces and makes you a less tempting target even if you're short on critters. Evasion is a wide next to cover anything that gets at least 1 point of Death-Touch through to you opponent.

2 - Lots of Fynn decks run cards like Vorrac Battlehorns Primal Rage or Charge Through. While Trample is a great partner keyword to Death-Touch, it doesn't work as well in this deck as you'd think. Leaning into cheap Green Death-Touch critters means most of them have power 1, making the Trample interaction redundant. Better to focus on other evasion techniques (Menace, Double-Strike, Unblockable...) or ways to add Trample with at least a +1 to power like Overrun or Kamahl, Fist of Krosa
