Face Down fun stuff, helmed by Ezuri, Claw of Progress.

Each Morph is a 2/2, which can trigger Ezuri, which then pumps the morphs, and lets them do degenerate things. Some of my favorite combos? Kheru Spellsnatcher + Vesuvan Shapeshifter , and Jeskai Infiltrator + Trail of Mystery .

This deck is hilarious. And the best part? I play it in clear sleeves, backed by 99 Khans Morph tokens. The deck is super thick, even after peeling the tokens in half to make them thinner. I play it in clear sleeves, backed by 99 Khans Morph tokens. (FYI, the Commander Damage token and the Beer token are by rk post. The beer is my "bear" token, for 2/2s that are neither morph nor manifest, like an Obscuring AEther or victims of Ixidron)

The whole deck has been organized and categorized. Cards may show up in multiple categories, depending on their function

The categories:

  • Land - I hope I don't need to explain these to you.

  • Morph - All the creatures in the deck I cast face down. You know, the whole point of this.

  • Manifest - A variety of spells that Manifest creatures for me. Sometimes they're creatures with tag alongs, like Whisperwood Elemental, sometimes it's straight spells, like Write into Being

  • FaceDownValue - Creatures and spells that may not directly Morph or Manifest anything, but interact with them in some way. Poster child, Ixidron.

  • MorphPower9 - The Moxen of Morph. If my opening hand has one of these four cards, the rest of them have to be really bad for it not to be a keeper.

  • FaceUpDoingItWrong - These are my shame. These are the creatures in the deck that don't have anything to do with Morphs or Manifests. I'm sorry. I feel dirty whenever I cast one of these.

  • Ramp - These help me accelerate into Ezuri, Claw of Progress. Ideally, I really want to be tossing out Ezuri before any Morphs.

  • CardDraw - These cards let me discard from my library into my hand.

  • Replay - These cards let me turn Morphs face down or return them to my hand to allow me to retrigger the effect.

  • PunchYouInTheFace - All right, you primitive screw-heads, listen up! See this? This... is my beatstick! (Usually a good target for Ezuri +1/+1 counters, especially Sagu Mauler)

  • Steal - Lets me steal my opponents stuff. Sneaky sneaky.

  • PlusOneCounters - I have a +1/+1 counter sub theme with the deck. These directly synergize with that. This includes all the megamorphs that come with one anyways, and ways to get multiple Ezuri triggers, like Jeskai Infiltrator, a card I never got to work in my standard deck but is surprisingly an all star in this list.

  • Removal - Kills things dead. Sometimes exiles.

  • Counterspell - On a stick!

  • BrokenWincon - These are what let the deck do its most degenerate combos.

  • Protection - Helps keep my commander or a morph alive.
