When I saw Azor's Elocutors The mention of filibuster counter's flashed me back to watching Mr. Smith Goes to Washington in high school civics class. So I started scouring to find and other references to American government in Magic cards as I could, in red, white and blue, of course. I'll grant, I have a somewhat cynical and jaded viewpoint and some cards are farther stretches than others. Filled in gaps with staples of the colors to have something playable. If anyone knows of any cards with government reference, please, please please, let me know!
