Got rid of 2x Search Warrant . Don't know if I should include 2x other cards in it's place? Perhaps something that can function off of lifegain?

Should I include 1x Search Warrant ? Seems like a waste if I don't draw it early, but I'd like to see the opponent's hand and gain life.

I feel this is kinda situational, resulting in a lot of dead draws... but at the same time I think this could easily be a voltron type deck utilizing the protections as evasion. +1

Here's mine if you'd like to get more ideas. I wasn't aware of the existence of Search Warrant before looking at your list. Other options for viewing hands are Spy Network, Peek, and Zur's Weirding. Returning things to their hands also lets you know what they have. Anyway, without further ado...

@EasyBr0wnies343 Thanks for the recommendations! I am trying to stay away from converting this to a creature deck since my pet deck is Affinity (entire gameplan is swinging with creatures), so I want a different play style to work off of. Young Pyromancer allows for the creature token route to be taken if needed, but I do like the idea of splashing colorless for some Eldrazi since I don't have any decks running any Eldrazi other than my Pauper combo deck with Nettle Drone. Matter Reshaper would probably never land anything since I only have 9 permanents in the entire deck other than lands, but I really like the idea of using Search Warrant and Endbringer since they gives me more control information and also follow the subtheme of life gain. I will add them to the maybeboard!

Hey this deck looks good and fun to play. I run a similar deck splashing colorless for Endbringer and Matter Reshaper. However, mine is more creature based, running a lot of prowess creatures and I'll be picking up some Jeskai Ascendancys eventually. Let me know how it works for you! I've found that Search Warrant can be helpful to keep things under control and save your counters for the right things, however I also know there are better hand search options so go for whatever suits you.

Hello. Funny deck, but I don't think Search Warrant is warranted in this deck. For a Totalitarian state like North Korea, you should replace Search Warrant with Famine. :)

@IzzetFanatic, I'm curious as to why you recommend Remand and Mana Leak? The draw ability is definitely nice, as is the slightly lower mana cost, but it seems like mid to late game it would be pretty easy for my opponent to override the additional cost in Mana Leak or to just play whatever I return to his hand from Remand the following turn. What do you think about Rebuff the Wicked or Hindering Light? Is Counterspell illegal in Modern?You're right, Search Warrant isn't great and a Detention Sphere would be way better. I also thought about replacing it with a Martial Law, although maybe that isn't as good because it is creature specific.
