The "Dimir Intrigues" duel commander deck will twist your opponent's head around and around . . . and maybe even off! Your opponent starts the game with 100 cards and 40 life. By the time the game ends, one of those two totals will be down to zeroand you don't care which one it is.

The deck features 2 Dimir mechanics: Transmute and Cipher. The deck also has access to Trap cards, and roguish Equipment cards.

The transmute mechanic lets you find the perfect card for any situation, ensuring that one way or the other, you'll emerge victorious. Cards like Muddle the Mixture and Perplex allow you to respond to the opponent, while being in themselves tutor effects at the same time.

House Dimir values secrecy above all, entrusting only its own agents with valuable codes and information. Whenever you cast a card with cipher, you can exile it, encoding it on a creature you control. Then, whenever the creature slides through and damages a player, you'll get to cast that card again!

The Dimir also have access to a variety of instant spells called traps. Traps have an alternative cost should specific events occur. Usually traps have abilities that undo whatever has made their alternative cost possible.
