A CEDH 1v1 Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer aggro - control deck which focuses on disrupting opponents through artifact / creature removal and stax while using treasure generation in order to ramp into strong threats. Dominate the early game with Ragavan while protecting your threats by attacking your opponents manabase and board.

Competes well vs any deck, possible turn 3 kills, consistent turn 4-6 wins. Can easily outvalue control decks in the long game with card draw and token generation, amazing at countering combo decks. Extensively play tested vs competitive decks on MTGO, with over 70% win rate in competitive lobbies.

The deck is very flexible with tons of artifact removal + Liquimetal Torque to turn any permanent into an artifact and remove enchantments, planeswalkers etc. Blood moon effects, Ruination and Karn, the Great Creator, Tangle Wire, Pillage to completely lock out mana bases, Relic of Progenitus, Unlicensed Hearse, Maddening Hex, Agatha's Soul Cauldron, Trinisphere, God-Pharaoh's Statue to stop most combo shenanigans.

Features

Over 20 token generating cards.

Amazing treasure generation and payoffs with Ragavan and Guild Artisan, Sticky Fingers, Professional Face-Breaker, Breeches, Eager Pillager and Magda, Brazen Outlaw that can tutor dragons or stax pieces.

A selection of the highest damage per turn / most efficient red creatures such as Laelia, the Blade Reforged, Gut, True Soul Zealot, Loyal Apprentice etc. to build a strong board while still having access to interaction and stax pieces.

Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Grim Monolith, Mox Amber, Lotus Petal, Chrome Mox etc. offer incredible ramp together with treasure generating cards.

Some of the best artifact removal around with Shattering Spree, Vandalblast, By Force, Fiery Confluence, Abrade, Brotherhood's End.

Over 20 spot removal spells and 2 damage-based wrath effects allow you to deal with almost any board state.

Idol of Oblivion, Bonehoard Dracosaur, The One Ring, Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Karn, Scion of Urza, War Room, Tome of Legends, Crimson Fleet Commodore amongst other card advantage sources so you don't lose steam.

Turn 2 Jeska's Will into big creature/planeswalker payoffs or stax.

Interesting interactions:

Karn, the Great Creator's -2 ability allows you to recast Relic of Progenitus and since it exiles itself, meaning you can use it to chain graveyard exiles and draw cards. Also works for any other exiled artifacts from Unlicensed Hearse etc.

Relic and other exile grave cards also synergise well with Laelia, the Blade Reforged, along with other exile effects.

Fable of the Mirror-Breaker   can copy creatures like Fury, Caves of Chaos Adventurer for great value.

Filter useless cards and dig for answers with Fable of the Mirror-Breaker  , Cathartic Pyre, Volcanic Spite.

Urza's Saga + Karn, Scion of Urza + treasure and token generation = huge artifact creature tokens that can overwhelm your opponent by turn 3-4.

Urza's Saga can tutor graveyard hate.

Ramp into an early Blood Moon or Trinisphere to lock players out.
