Building a successful empire is a lot like winning a game of EDH - all it takes is a little luck, a little chaos, and a whole lot of combat.

The goal here is to make sure the table develops while also making sure it never makes sense to develop in our direction. We've got some closing power to pick off the final opponent but in general the hope is they mostly sort each other out.

This deck is part of my project to create 32 EDH decks that encompass the colour wheel in all the colour combinations. My stipulation on top of that is every commander must be as cheap as possible - 1- and 2-colour commanders must cost 2 (where are all my one drop commanders, you cowards!), 3-colour commanders must cost 3, etc. Hybrid mana is OK but identity cheats like Alesha, Who Smiles at Death are not.

I found myself moving towards cheaper and cheaper curves in all my decks, so cheaper and cheaper commanders is the natural next step! The aesthetic of having 32 commanders all costing exactly their colour identity is simply too powerful for me to ignore.
