This is an EDH deck for my favorite tribe with a focus on flavor over power. This deck usually doesn't win without some luck, but I have fun playing it.

Interactions: Just because this is a flavor first deck doesn't mean there are no synergies! Insects as a tribe have a few fun (and probably unintentional) interactions that give the deck things to do.

1) ETB and Morph Recursion

Invasive Species or Ambush Krotiq allow multiple activations of Hornet Queen , Heartstabber Mosquito , Distended Mindbender and It of the Horrid Swarm , as well as resetting counters on Yisan, the Wanderer Bard. Bouncing back the morph creatures allows you to recast them for their morph cost and flip again for more value.

2) Sacrifice and Recursion

Sacrifice outlets like Devouring Swarm, Nantuko Husk, and Birthing Pod trigger death effects from Symbiotic Wurm or Moldgraf Monstrosity , as well as pumping Mortician Beetle and Swarm of Bloodflies . Gleancrawler , Foul Renewal and Moldgraf Monstrosity allow you to recur the sacrificed creatures to re-use ETB effects or rescue a bomb, and Endless Cockroaches will recur itself.

3) Beat Big and Go Wide

Because this deck is so obviously a janky casual deck, sometimes your opponents will ignore you and spend their answers on each other. Cards like Giant Adephage, Ant Queen, Living Hive, and Dragonlair Spider are game-enders if left unanswered. They synergize well with Obelisk of Urd, and Door of Destinies to allow you to attack both wide and tall.

4) Toolbox Package

Caustic Caterpillar and Nantuko Vigilante are artifact/enchantment hate.

Bane of the Living can solve literally any boardstate, given enough mana, and lets you play mind games with the other morphers in the deck. Silklash Spider is a repeatable fliers boardwipe.

Heartstabber Mosquito and, to a lesser extent, Giant Ambush Beetle and Mortipede are removal stapled to an insect body.

Yisan, the Wanderer Bard and Birthing Pod will let you search your toolbox.
