Saber Ants Discussion

So I love your concept here, but I notice how you say you started out wanting to build around Ghalta, and so now I'm conflicted with wanting to add support to your artifact theme OR your commander's game-plan of "fatty tribal", cause I'm not so sure they work well with each other. Let me do a not-so-short breakdown of what I'm thinking.
I'd first point out that Mycosynth Lattice and Mycosynth Golem do not work together like people are saying. The lattice doesn't make cards in your hand into artifacts, so the golem doesn't reduce the cost of creatures that are not already artifacts in your hand. However the Golem would still help you cheat things like Colossus of Akros into play if you've got a ton of artifacts and the Lattice is great with Inspiring Statuary (good call on dropping Titania's Song first btw, that would just blow up your lands with the lattice out). Oddly enough, the Statuary is kinda bad in your current build because it doesn't reduce the cost of your artifact creatures, but I presume this without having tested the build.
Now, to do a light step on actually figuring out artifact support, there's the inherent issue of being green, and I'm not talking about the fact that green usually hates on artifacts. No, my point is that if you are "playing an artifact deck" normally that means one of three things (to me at least): You're aggro/volron with equipment and tokens; you're combo/control with tutors and protection for pieces; or you're playing value engines with your grave as another place to just get your artifacts from. The fact that green can't provide anything past the recursion and maybe the protection effects and tokens is why most people don't play mono-green artifacts. The support isn't necessarily there for the artifacts themselves. This is why Oviya isn't even a great artifact commander as all she does is make artifact tokens and otherwise doesn't care about artifacts at all. No if green does do any artifact strategy the only one it can pull off effectively, in my mind, is the voltron aggro one. Which Ghalta is well suited for, but if you really want to hammer down on building it that way, you'd need to really alter your build from its current point. For one Triumph of the Hordes, while a little sneakier than having Grafted Exoskeleton out, isn't as effective in the long run. Nissa, Vital Force for instance would also be very powerful as a value engine, but your build doesn't have a good slot for it yet.
For building around Ghalta more directly though, and taking the fatty tribal theme focus over artifacts, you've got a ton of options for cards to improve the build without breaking your budget. For card advantage alone you could be playing Life's Legacy. Hunter's Insight, Hunter's Prowess, Momentous Fall, even Traverse the Outlands if that isn't too high (I don't claim to know what your budget is). You also do not seem to have explored the idea of using pump spells as ritual effects for your commander. Aspect of Hydra and Primal Bellow when timed right, and in regards to your commander at least, could be like paying 1 mana to gain 7+. This is not to mention some of the undercosted creatures out there that may not be free to cast but certainly have ways to be far more powerful than they appear. Avatar of Might is one cheap fatty option, but did if you're willing to look at tokens you should also remember that Saber Ants, Broodhatch Nantuko, and Ant Queen are all solid options as well (if completely off flavor)
Anyway, that's some of what I'm thinking about your build and I'm not sure where to delve further unless you've already got it in mind of where you'd want to sit on those extremes. If you don't want to settle for one that's an option too of course, but it is the most challenging as well.

Few comments (finally)
Remove the following:
Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist etc - Unless you are comboing out or sacing 3+ a turn regularly they are a bit slow Blood Artist being the better
Broodhatch Nantuko, Bramblewood Paragon, Hornet Nest, Saber Ants, Spike Breeder are all a bit too cute unless you are planning to abuse them.
From Beyond - If you put in an eldrazi this would work a lot nicer It That Betrays is okay for this. (and cheep)
Malevolent Awakening - Bit slow
Barter in Blood - Better to go for a creature based Fleshbag Marauder can be recured.
Also a few things to look at : Greater Good, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Pox, smokestacks, Also worth looking into a few keywords - Morbid (Tragic Slip) - Threshold - Revolt -
I got a few pieces btw too:Pox - Yavimaya Elder - Sakura-Tribe Elder - Ashnod's Altar - Death Cloud - Harrow - Reyhan, Last of the Abzan - and I know sammy has a few too

I think the goal of this desk should be to focus on making insect tokens. So some suggestions I would give you are Hornet Queen, Saber Ants, Broodhatch Nantuko, Hornet Nest, and Beacon of Creation. I would get rid of cards that don't really have to do anything with it. So get rid of Forgotten Ancient and Wall of Blossoms. Then you need some Overrun sort of effects to win with your token army. So Garruk Wildspeaker, more copies of Overwhelming Stampede, or Triumph of the Hordes. You could also try artifacts like Door of Destinies, Coat of Arms or Eldrazi Monument. Finally you have too many big creatures. Honestly you could even get rid of most of them and just put more copies of Vorapede in. If you're worried about running out of cards you can always get some Harmonize.
Hope this helps.

Have you considered Blade of Selves? Gaea's Cradle is also insane, especially with land tutoring and land untap effects, like Seedborn Muse. I know that it's expensive, so I don't blame you for not having one. I also think Brimaz, King of Oreskos is kind of weak in commander, but that just be my bias from my playgroup, but if you are looking for token producers, things like Decree of Justice, Martial Coup(kinda), White Sun's Zenith, Wolfbriar Elemental, and another rattlesnake token producer thingy is Saber Ants. I know saber ants seems weak, but give it a try. It might surprise you. It's bad in a wrath happy meta, but in a giant creature meta, it can be pretty good.

Thanks for the quick responses!!!!!
Nickick, Thanks I did some expirimental hands and you were right, this deck has some serious mana flood, thanks again. What! Saber Ants isn't Legal!! =( I'll fix itAs for Coat of Arms I figured Door of Destinies was slightly better becasue it is cheaper to lay and being a tocken themed deck my creatures will come and go fast but the counters on Door of Destinies won'tAspect of Hydra Sounds like a good Idea
Finally, Whats wrong with Hornet Queen?
I realize that you probably know a lot more about magic to me so if any of my arguments are flawed please tell me why =)

The cards which look old aren't modern legal.
Wrap in Vigor (as sideboard tech)
Oh, and don't not put Hornet Queen in there!

More reviews of individual cards:
Tangleroot - when creature tokens come in to play for you, they are not a spell being played as they are not coming from your hand. If this card said "Whenever a creature comes into play" it would be great for you, but as it stands it helps opponents too much and I might remove it.
Galvanic Juggernaut - this is really bad, also when all of your creatures are devoured, this happens all at once so you cannot untap/tap a bunch of times.
Giant Adephage would be good in this deck
Regal Force too expensive ($12), probably worth it if he's in a mono-green deck. Think about it, you are creating 0/1 colorless eldrazi tokens a lot of the time, and some red goblins. He wouldn't help with those at all.
Saber Ants and Broodhatch Nantuko - these are OK, but you don't really have a way to deal them damage beyond hoping an opponent will attack you. Blasphemous Act would be troll because it would kill all creatures, THEN you would get 13 tokens.
Soul of the Harvest - this is bad here because you are creating so many tokens--he only gives you card draw when a non-token creature enters.
Zendikar Resurgent is good, but Enchantments can be easily destroyed and this is a quite expensive one. For that mana, I would rather play a spell like Boundless Realms. While we are on the subject of ramp, these are some good cards for you: 1. Cultivate 2. Kodama's Reach 3. Sakura-Tribe Elder 4. Harrow 5. Farhaven Elf 6. Gruul SignetYou should definitely have Sakura Tribe Elder, the Signet, and the others are great as well.

Fair enough will keep the Dawntreader Elk.
I suppose it's the fact quite a lot of enchantment hate is around I imagine. If I kept Asceticism then instead of those 3 my options could be....
Pulse of the Tangle, it's a nice potentially reoccurring token generator, however since I'm making tokens and forcing opponents to sac, it may well be my opponents don't have more creatures than me, and a 3/3 for 3 mana isn't terrible, it's nothing special at all.
Then although they're all a loss, I'd consider....
Saber Ants, it's a nice token generator however if I'm really having to be harsh, I prefer hornet's nest and something needs to go.
Butcher of Malakir, nice effect of course but somewhat expensive, I do have other cards causing this effect already.
Blood Speaker, eeh tutoring for a demon is nice, but is it absolutely crucial?
Mortician Beetle, nice ability but does start very small...may be killed off with a quick burn spell.
