Instead of the mana doublers, i would add something like Bear Umbra, untaps your land if you swing with your commander, plus totem armor. Get some protection aswell, Lightning Greaves Yeva, Nature's Herald (just cast commander straight back when he gets destroyed, keep it in your hand). maybe a few spells like Tamiyo's Safekeeping, Tyvar's Stand, Gaea's Gift, Momentous Fall, Shared Summons, Wrap in Vigor some other creatures i didnt think of before: Oracle of Mul Daya, Silverback Elder, Apex Devastator, Cultivator Colossus, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Cankerbloom, Topiary Stomper, Regal Force

For cutting cards, i would just cut cards that arent creatures or synergize with creatures, or dont do alot most of the time. something like Exponential Growth is gonna be a dead card in your hand most of the times.

Also dont understand most artifacts in your deck. Diviner's Wand for example, 3 mana to cast, 3 to equip, 4 to draw 1 card, 10 mana to draw your first card, and 4 mana for each card after that doesnt seem worth it at all. Id also cut 1x Mirage Mirror, Staff of Compleation, Helm of the Host, Lithoform Engine, Book of Rass

Id also cut: Vigor, Ironscale Hydra, Seeker of Skybreak, Viridian Joiner, Nantuko Mentor

And i would add 4-5 lands. playing a land per turn is stronger then playing an arcane signet or sol ring and then miss a land drop. (id cut arcane signet and sol ring aswell, they are bad draws past t4)

Hii!! love your idea of Genju of the Realm commander!! I love the "illegal" commanders, a new whole world of posibilities, I have a illegal Nephilim commander deck :)

Just to give some ideas to the Genju of the Realm 's deck in case you build it with that card as your commander. I'd be great to kill people with commander damage! so, to achieve that asap you can use some double strike combat tricks and extra-combat pashes, like: Nantuko Mentor , Overwhelming Stampede , Pathbreaker Ibex , Nylea's Colossus , World at War , Seize the Day , Scourge of the Throne , Berserk , Blood Mist , Savage Beating , Hadana's Climb  Flip when it's flipped, Psychotic Fury , Moraug, Fury of Akoum , Aggravated Assault , Relentless Assault and more...

I found super-epic to kill your opp hitting them with ur massive land-commander!!

Very interesting take on a voltron deck! It's probably meant to be as janky as it is, but I'm gonna drop this list on you for your consideration anyway. Some of these are not budget friendly, but I'm just throwing it out there.

Hope it's useful. Cheers!

Don't think you need Jenara or Knotvine Paladin since you have a great attacker as a commander already. Serra Ascendant would be amazing though. Maybe even Hydra Omnivore to spread the damage.

Nantuko Mentor can pump your exalted attacker by a lot.

Citadel Siege can grow your creatures more or tap opponents' creatures more reliably than Angelic Benediction.

Dauntless Escort doesn't work if you have Angel of Jubilation in play. You could try Teferi's Protection or Heroic Intervention instead.

One thing you are missing is card advantage. Rishkar's Expertise, Hunter's Insight, and Hunter's Prowess can help draw cards from a big exalted creature. Beast Whisperer and Shamanic Revelation are great for drawing cards from all your creatures.

I think one of the issues with Sylvan Safekeeper is that shroud prevents you from pumping Marwyn further. With Temur Sabertooth you can repeatedly bounce other creatures and replay them, which is handy with Quirion Ranger, Scryb Ranger, and Wirewood Symbiote to reset their abilities and untap Marwyn again. With Greater Good, you need haste to recast Marwyn and restart the storming.

Having more creatures allows you to make use of creature-based card draw like Primordial Sage and Soul of the Harvest. Rhonas's Monument makes most of those creatures mana-positive by reducing their costs and pumping Marwyn further. Another very efficient spell you could try is Berserk, although you need to go to combat for that. Nantuko Mentor might also work.

Hey there, Is it okay for your playgroup that you use a non-legendary card as your commander? If so and you will continue to use Godsire, then you should consider tokendoublers. I am aware that some of them are kind of expensive, but on the other side, some of them arent: Anointed Procession, Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor.

Populate, can work very good as well, because you play with huge Tokens: Druid's Deliverance, Growing Ranks, Rootborn Defenses, Sundering Growth, Trostani's Judgment, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, Vitu-Ghazi Guildmage, Wake the Reflections, Wayfaring Temple, also great: Samut, Voice of Dissent.

Altough you have to think about, wich route you want to go with the deck. I would say swarm with tokens and go broad, not Voltron. But if you want to Voltron like hell, you should consider the follwing: Ramp like f*** in the first few turns. Godsire is expensive! and then give it a boost! Godsire has the Potential of killing in one hit if you combine it with the following:

Double Strike: Assault Strobe, Avatar of Slaughter, Battle Mastery, Berserkers' Onslaught, Blood Mist, Boros Charm, Duelist's Heritage, Fireshrieker, Psychotic Fury, Samut, the Tested, Silverblade Paladin, Temur Battle Rage.

Combine this with +X'er: Berserk, Dragon Throne of Tarkir on one of the Tokens, Fatal Frenzy, Nantuko Mentor, Onward, Overwhelming Stampede, Pathbreaker Ibex, Rush of Blood, Wine of Blood and Iron, Xenagos, God of Revels.

I hope i could help you.

Welcome to my area of expertise. I love building decks nobody has ever thought up and using cards that are purely jank. I'll name a commander and then couple cards people have either forgot or think are useless and a general theme you could play (no pressure to play it that way).

  • Asmira, Holy Avenger: Hunting Grounds, Centaur Omenreader, Nacatl War-Pride. I'd try either a token based deck (Eldrazi Spawn/Scions) that powers itself off of sacrificing creatures (Birthing Pod and Ashnod's Altar) or a Cleric tribal with some recursion (Children of Korlis and Grave Sifter).

  • Atalya, Samite Master: Cleansing, Well of Lost Dreams, Celestial Dawn. You could play a stax and/or group slug deck, abusing your life gaining abilities (Heartstone, Rings of Brighthearth and Illusionist's Bracers) or a surprise fatty deck that drops a huge dude (Phyrexian Processor or Vengeful Archon) thanks to mana doublers (Extraplanar Lens, Gauntlet of Power, and Caged Sun).

  • Axelrod Gunnarson: Kusari-Gama, Invasion Plans, Dolmen Gate. Axelrod would be your standard voltron deck, but to spice it up, why not make it so you do those "group hug" cards that give your opponents creatures (Varchild's War-Riders) and make them block so you end up doing damage and a In Garruk's Wake each combat? Don't forget some sort of deathtouch (Whip of Erebos.)

  • Ayumi, the Last Visitor: Cream of the Crop, Greater Good, Nantuko Mentor. Another deck where you would instantly think voltron, right? Maybe do an ETB deck focusing on your commander and her power (a surprising amount of cards that deal with power). Sac'ing it for whatever reason (Birthing Pod or Greater Good) and then recurring it somehow (Eternal Witness or Lifeline) to make some extremely unlikely combos.
  • And those are just the "A's" when I searched on gatherer for all legendary creatures. I could go on, but it's up to your creativity. If you like what I'm pitchin, feel free to either take one of these ideas or do some research of your own on a commander you might want to do something phunky with.
