I saw Marton Stromgald in a hard case. The owner found him when looking through his cards, and thought he might be valuable.
Turns out, our good friend Marton is like 50 cents, so, upon me saying I wanted to make an EDH deck with him precisely because he has little value, I received him for free. And so, I decided that honour dictates I try to make him an army. This is my attempt.
So, Marton, who has a penchant for alpha striking whenever possible, will be for one-on-one commander experiences. The goal of the deck will be to get gobs of creatures out for him to attack (and if necessary, block) with. (Seriously, that second ability actually may come quite in handy. He basically gives Craterhoof Behemoth's strength boost on demand!) There will be a mild secondary subtheme of stealing and sacing creatures, and cards that let me do damage without having to punch through.
Maybeboard is cards I would like for the deck, but don't have. Bear in mind I literally just threw this together with cards I had lying around (and several cards I received for free for the deck. Shout out to the great guy who gave them to me!). Any suggestions, advice, or even comments about the deck are welcome and desired. Thanks a bunch for taking a look!
