Hi kimosabe! Thanks for the comment!
I’m really loving this deck despite only having one creature. For me the protection spells are helpful but I find myself holding up mana for a bounce spell like Unsummon to avoid removal, only because 3 players will likely have chances to remove Chun-li most games so if she’s going to be removed I just bounce her to my hand.
As for creatures I’ve got a few token makers that help the deck survive a ton. Spiritual Visit, Secure the Wastes, Recruit the Worthy, Rally for the Throne, Raise the Alarm, Midnight Haunting, Master's Call, Errand of Duty, Call the Coppercoats and Lazotep Plating. The tokens are fun to create every turn and can accumulate to be a pretty big board state fast.
While those creatures are strong and I appreciate your recommendations I just personally like the idea of owning a deck with 0 creature cards in it, just kind of funny and different.
If you have a chun-li deck I’d love to see yours, one thing I’ll add is that Release to the Wind is absolutely nasty in Chun-li, so if you have her I recommend that card.

If you're having issues with mana, then I definitely wouldn't extend the deck to three colours! Instead consider making room for the likes of Marble Diamond, Pearl Medallion, Worn Powerstone and Temple of the False God as well as the various white cards that can piggyback off your opponent's ramp, like Tithe, Gift of Estates, Knight of the White Orchid and Oreskos Explorer.
Also, I'm surprised you aren't running Errand of Duty! Having access to banding at instant speed is pretty handy. I'd also recommend Return to Dust over Ray of Distortion - it gets two targets for four mana rather than ten mana, and exiles them to boot - and something like Brave the Sands since banding pairs well with vigilance.
Another thing to consider is that banding is at its best when you have a scapegoat to soak up all the damage. That could be anything from Cho-Manno, Revolutionary to Seraph of the Sword to Darksteel Myr.

Hmm I'd say Errand of Duty is a two-fold cut, first because it's only one token for two mana, and secondly because you have to explain how banding works to most other players.
Cackling Counterpart is a great card, but, since it only can target a creature you control, it actually doesn't have very many good targets in your deck. Not Forgotten is an okay card to interact with graveyard decks, but I'm not sure if it will really pull its weight.
Hope that helps a little!
