drcatherwood I always have a soft spot for innovative out of the box decks. Will certainly check out your deck.

In fact, I've a casual Kess deck in the brew but it'll be awhile before that's ready.

Feel free to check out my other decks too so we can trade pointers! Cheers.

Byuante You're in safe hands with scotchtapedsleeves helping you.

hkhssweiss Thank you for your kind words!

I was inspired by scotchtapedsleeves and Matrixxx999 before I started exploring CSS (I knew nothing about it prior) so I'm no expert here for sure. Matrixxx999 helped me with my coding too!

Will be happy to share if anyone is interested in what I did for my deck pages though. Cheers!

Yup I find it a challenge when using an Artwork in the background as the colors ain't uniform throughout and depending on the choice of font colors (not saying this deck but in general), some of them may blend into the background at certain areas.

This happened when I was customising my Athreos deck so I added the mouse over effect to enhance readability on PC, akin to what you DiverDown suggested above.

scotchtapedsleeves's designs and work are the inspirations that got me interested in dolling up my deck pages so am sure he can advise.

I'm also keen to learn from him too!

Soren841 Now that I checked it via Mobile, it does seem better. So it could be a PC issue.

Anyway am just throwing the suggestion out there. Adopting it or not is entirely up to Inkmoth.

Thanks for pointing it out.

+1 The deck looks awesome and I'd like to give it a try when time is avail.

Sweet page design too. The green background and the green font does make looking at the deck list kinda challenging.

You can consider editing the code so that when someone mouse over your deck list, the back changes to a solid color, making for easy reading while not affecting the aesthetic of the page (something like what I did for my deck).

Chat me up if you'd like to do this and I can help with the coding. Cheers!

Been play-testing and tweaking my Persistent Petitioners deck lately and would like to poll the community on the following:

Should I add Opposition to the deck?

Does this Count as Annoying?

Some of my prelim thoughts:

Pros: My spare petitioners can help tap down opponents' artifacts, creatures and/or lands.

Cons: It doesn't directly contribute to the Mill theme.

Let me know what you think. If you think it can be added, do suggest which card should be removed to make way for Opposition .

All other feedback, suggestions, and of course upvotes, are welcomed too.

Thank you in advance for the help.

SynergyBuild triproberts12 Thanks both for the suggestions! Appreciate it.

I did consider Arcane adaption but I want to toy with the Thrumming Stone route for the time being. I did brew a Persistent Petitioners deck helmed by Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Arcane adaption would fit perfectly inside this deck.

I'd replace Phyrexian Arena with Necropotence .

I honestly didn't think of Dovescape and the combo with Arcane adaption seems fun and powerful. However, as I mentioned in my original post above, I'd like to stay away from lock-down type effects as the play group is rather casual. Thank you for enlightening me about this combo though!

Feel free to leave your suggestions and comments on my deck page too. A +1 would be very welcomed as well. Cheers.

cdkime come to think of it, Cavern makes a lot of sense cause for now, all creatures in my deck are Humans (mini tribal here so all benefit from tribal cost reductions like Herald's Horn and tribal card draw like Kindred Discovery ).

The Scarab God will be my only non-Human creature in the deck.

Making Zur uncounterable is sweet too!

cdkime. Thanks for the suggestions!

I'm going to try out The Scarab God and Fabricate today.

Fraying Sanity has been moving in and out of my main deck multiple times. It is a powerful card but I don't like that it only affects 1 player. That said, with sufficient Copy Enchantment type effects, I can spread the "love" around more.

Cavern of Souls was left out due its cost but you're absolutely right about Sanctum. I don't like lands that ETB tapped too. I'd consider replacing it with something else until I can afford to throw a Cavern into this deck.

Good suggestions pal. Keep them coming! Thanks again.

cdkime This is extremely useful. I did some googling of the rules as well after reading your comment just to understand the mechanics behind this "trick".

I've a Judge in my play group so am very used to making sure we use the correct terminologies whenever we play with him. I learnt a lot from him and cleared up many age old misconceptions.

So don't worry about going into the nitty gritties, I appreciate that a lot. While I'm no where near the level of a rules guru, I'm also constantly sharing whatever tricks or misconceptions I uncovered with the rest of my play groups too.

Thanks a lot once again for the help. Keep the ideas and suggestions coming!

cdkime both Imprisoned in the Moon and Deep Freeze are currently in my deck. Didn't have a spare Darksteel Mutation so it's in my Maybeboard for the time being until I acquire one.

I didn't know about the aura being able to target Hexproof/Shrouded creatures my opponents control when they're put into play. Thanks for the tip!

February 15, 2019 9:01 a.m.

enpc Valid point on Impersonator. The main targets are Rhystic Study , the Mill enchantments like Psychic Corrosion or Propaganda effects. A Copy Enchantment would be better and it is tutorable by Zur but I went with Impersonator for cost reasons.

Thanks for the feedback on the CSS. Its loading fine on my mobile though but I'll look into toning it down if able.
