In order to not feel like slow playing the "win" combo, some notes to hopefully help play smoothly/quickly:

Turn 1 (end step):

Get Nalfeshnee after tutoring for Dark Petition with Hoarding Broodlord (Broodlord of course from the Dragon's Approaches). You must have one of:

  • A Dragon's Approach in hand
  • An extra Dragon's Approach remaining in graveyard
  • Two instant/sorcery spells in graveyard besides Dragon's Approach, or a fair bit of extra mana lying around

Turn 2 (Nalfeshnee should survive for infinite - otherwise, this is won't be infinite, but I should at some point write another version for what to do in this case)

  • Double-cast Dark Petition (exiled via Hoarding Broodlord), for a net of [3 mana that could have been red is now black and gain B]
  • One search is for Dragon's Approach (unless you have enough of those in the right places, in which case get Chromatic Orrery and skip the first search below)
  • One search is for Spellweaver Helix

Then:

  • Exile Dark Petition (and Dragon's Approach) under Spellweaver Helix...
  • Cast another Dragon's Approach
  • This triggers two Dark Petitions (because it is cast from exile). Both should add BBB. They're free to cast since it's a trigger.
  • One finds Dragon's Approach
  • Another finds Chromatic Orrery
  • Play Orrery, which adds CCCCC
  • Play Dragon's Approach
  • Two petitions again; this time for Elixir of Immortality and Dragon's Approach

The total cost for this is at least 4BB (6) but up to 5BBRR (9) depending on graveyard status at the start of the turn (or even more if there's not enough instant/sorceries in the grave)

Next step: Reveal information to possibly skip the combo.

  • Next time casting Dragon's Approach, during the search, reveal the number of them in the deck. If there's 5 or more between the deck and graveyard (NOT counting the one that's currently on the stack), this goes infinite very clearly.
  • Note that each Approach will normally net gain 3 mana, except that the first two Approaches after shuffling with Elixir will net lose 3 mana. Also, shuffling net loses 3 mana because of playing and activating the elixir.
  • Overall that gives the math that leads to the requirement of 5 Approaches.
  • Mention that this is not exactly the sequence to perform for optimally avoiding being interacted with, but it is a proof that it's possible.
  • If someone wants to interact, then the best course is to go through steps manually. Always search for Dragon's Approach with your first resolving Dark Petition, then if needed or desired, a different card.
  • If someone has a static effect or other clear information in the way of a win this turn, try and demonstrate infinite mana via something like Dark Ritual or having more than 5 total Approaches; then, show sideboard or (during a search) other relevant cards in deck for dealing with complications. It's likely fine to play this out, but this would be the polite way of making sure people know if the game is over.
