MtG Wiki Aggro-Control-Combo Description

"Some Magic decks are adaptable enough to perform all three roles. By utilizing strong "engines", playing only the best cards for sheer power level, or using a large "toolbox" of silver bullet cards, decks that can claim to be all archetypes at once are usually both adaptive and unpredictable in nature. Generally lacking the full speed of an aggro deck, the constant disruption of a control deck and the pure focus of a combo deck, the extremely rare Aggro-Control-Combo archetype attempts to make up for any shortcomings with metagame adaptability and/or sheer power."

Synergy

This is the Commander version of my The Dauntless Host Modern deck; hence like its sixty-card counterpart it is made as a sort of cure-all capable of handling all manner of threats yours opponents may throw at you - thus containing all manner of tricks.

Swarm feature: Oketra the True, Oketra's Monument, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, Resplendent Angel, and Serra the Benevolent.

Prison/Control features: Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker, Grasp of the Hieromancer, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Suppression Bonds, Citizen's Arrest, Angel of Jubilation, Luminous Bonds, Prison Realm, Stasis Snare, Sigrid, God-Favored, Kytheon's Irregulars, Baird, Steward of Argive, Myrel, Shield of Argive, and Urza's Ruinous Blast in that, given how many Legendaries there are, it will likely hurt your foes far more than you.

Lifegain features: Baneslayer Angel, Aerial Responder, Resplendent Angel, Solemn Offering, Linden, the Steadfast Queen, Lyra Dawnbringer, On Serra's Wings, Angel of Invention, Invoke the Divine, Seraph of Dawn, Danitha Capashen, Paragon, Seraph Sanctuary, and Victory's Herald.

Defense features: Everdawn Champion, Seraph of the Sword, Teyo, Geometric Tactician, Valkmira, Protector's Shield  , The Wanderer, and Fortified Rampart will defend you and, in the Seraph's case, do so alongside an army of Angelic flyers. The Humans are no pushovers either, with Baird, Steward of Argive protecting them while charging alongside your Thalia's Lancers, Taranika, Akroan Veteran, Odric, Lunarch Marshal, and the rank-and-file member of your army such as Knight of Grace (any of whom you can promote with On Serra's Wings or Angelic Destiny). Of course, get Serra's Emissary out and defense stops being an issue altogether.

Graveyard features: Emeria Shepherd and Sigil of the New Dawn can bring creatures back from the dead to fight on.

Comeback features: If you are on the verge of defeat then Linvala, the Preserver, Resolute Archangel, Gideon of the Trials's ultimate, Exquisite Archangel, and/or The Book of Exalted Deeds will save you (particularly if you combine the Book's special power with Hydaelyn, the Mothercrystal  's, making your guardian Angel indestructible).

Tutor cards: Call the Gatewatch for a Planeswalker, Heliod's Pilgrim for an Aura, and Thalia's Lancers for any Legendary.

Many possible Commanders: Finally, this army of Light can be led by any of the many Legendary creatures within her ranks, meaning one can have varied game experiences simply by switching one Commander in favor of another. While Venat, Heart of Hydaelyn   is obviously the best commander, Oketra the True is excellent since as a god she survives and help you rebuild after Wrath affects. But Myrel, Shield of Argive, Baird, Steward of Argive, Odric, Lunarch Marshal, Reidane, God of the Worthy   for her flip side, and Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker can be just as good depending.

Playability Results

As the MtG Wiki description of Aggro-Control-Combo states, this EDH deck is adaptable, and since each card feeds into multiple strategies you will seldom find yourself in a corner that you cannot escape from. Finally, and in concert with the above, this deck is designed to perform well with no more than 4 mana at your disposal.
