...anyway, Lozhan, Dragons' Legacy is absolutely perfect for a slightly slower and more casual format such as pauper commander. There are now a reasonable amount of common dragons alongside some decent adventures (with Baldur's Gate even being good enough to bring us some which are both at the same time) so she'll quickly start throwing some damage around. The usual downsides of dragons - that they're expensive and rely on getting in for a beatdown to win - are also mitigated in a format where wraths are essentially non-existent and the lack of fast mana makes most people play fair magic. Mostly. Until we can deploy some of our bigger flappers the deck also does typical Izzet things like draw cards and utilise burn spells to clear out small creatures, though again thanks to Baldur's Gate there are a few three and even two mana dragons to start building up a board presence with.
