Casual play stompy deck that draws a lot of cards, hits with big creatures, and removes opponents' resources. The vast majority of lands in this mono-blue deck are basic islands, so there's really no chance of being mana screwed unless you simply don't draw them (unlikely, given the extensive card draw mechanics).

Upvotes and suggestions for improvement are always welcome.

Win Cons:

  1. VOLTRON Commander damage, with pump + unblockable effects listed below. Make sure your commander stays on the board with False Demise and Fool's Demise . Grappling Hook Lets you do commander damage twice as fast.

  2. Atemsis, All-Seeing , wins by hand. A wide range of CMC cards from 0-13 are included in this deck, so coupled with the unblockable capabilities and large amount of card draw, this is a viable option. Cards like Nezahal, Primal Tide and Graceful Adept help ensure you keep all these cards in hand long enough to take advantage of the WinCon.

  3. Large creatures + Unblockable effects + Quietus Spike = rapid damage in the mid-to-late game

  4. Take control of an opponent for a turn with Emrakul, the Promised End

  5. Card advantage, with near-constant card draw.

Ramp and Cost Reduction:

  1. Sol Ring , Palladium Myr , Burnished Hart , Worn Powerstone , Hedron Archive , Gilded Lotus , Dreamstone Hedron

  2. Or, use Manifold Key to untap your mana rocks and cast with them again.

  3. Make your spells cheaper to play with Battlefield Thaumaturge and Jace's Sanctum .

Resource Denial:

  1. Slowly drain your opponents' mana sources with Quicksilver Fountain

  2. Remove half of what's available to them with Void Winnower

  3. "Annihilate" your opponents' defenses (and attackers) in the late game with annihilator eldrazi.

======================================================

Unblockable/Trample:

  1. Icy Blast taps down multiple opponents defenses to allow yours to punch through.

  2. For single creature unblockable goodness: Aqueous Form , Whispersilk Cloak , Tricks of the Trade , Rogue's Passage , Sleep , Eldrazi Conscription

  3. Invisibility : 2 mana for a permanently unblockable threat? Yes please, because who actually still plays walls these days? Great for commander damage or massive eldrazi.

  4. Got a bunch of big creatures with chump blockers in the way? Haunted Cloak and Emrakul, the Promised End tramples through them.

Pump:

Colossus Hammer , One With the Wind , Scroll of the Masters , Tricks of the Trade , Hammer of Nazahn , Eldrazi Conscription

======================================================

Draw:

  1. Nezahal, Primal Tide , Opt , Brainstorm , Impulse , Shimmer of Possibility , Blue Sun's Ze nith, Secrets of the Golden City , Winged Words , Hedron Archive , Drawn from Dreams , Dreamstone Hedron , and Overflowing Insight all grant varying degrees of cards. This is particulary helful with the Atemsis, All-Seeing WinCon.

  2. In my meta, we have several token-deck players, so Keep Watch has the potential for huge card draw.

  3. Future Sight gives you an extra card each turn without worrying about hand size.

======================================================

Removal:

  1. Curse of the Swine removes multiple big threats from the board and replaces them with more manageable alternatives that are no match for our massive creatures and clones.

  2. Single removal: Kasmina's Transmutation , Reduce in Stature , Serendib Sorcerer , Baral's Expertise , Scourge of Fleets

  3. Annihilator Eldrazi to remove attackers/defenders and other permanents: Eldrazi Conscription , Artisan of Kozilek

Duplication

Duplicate your biggest threats and WinCon pieces with Mirage Mirror , Helm of the Host , Clone , Rite of Replication , Mercurial Pretender , Stolen Identity . The best part? Cloning them is a way to make extras of your big creatures for a smaller mana cost!
