The basic premise of the deck is to go wide and tall at the same time with tokens, angels, equipment, and a little bit of tribal. Since you can't rely on Commander damage with this deck, the idea is to more or less help with the additional work it takes to kill opponents. You can't go as wide or as tall as other decks, but you can take the average and still do a decent job of getting around most defenses. With a tool-kit of equipment and angels, you can also address most problems you might face. The deck is also pretty resilient to removal and sweepers, but tends to struggle against more control-heavy decks able to shut down combat, and it really isn't able to handle problem enchantments or artifacts. It's definitely not my best deck, but I like it and it's fun.
