As much as I enjoy playing commander, one of the parts I enjoy most is deckbuilding. I often do themed decks and funky mechanics to challenge myself to make a functional deck with constraints. This deck has the following constraint.

EVERY SINGLE CARD in the 99 of the deck has to be the name of a metal band, the title of a metal song, or lyrics to a metal song.

Thraximundar at the helm because his SLD art is fire.

The inspiration was Descent into Madness which is part of the chorus from the song Descent, by Orbit Culture. If you’re a metal fan, give this deck a look and I hope you enjoy checking it out as much as I enjoyed building it.
