Hello and welcome to my angel tribal Tariel EDH page! I've been playing magic for a long time and whenever I get a chance to pick up a cool angel in a trade I do. I've accumulated a lot of really good angels over the years and I decided to make a deck where I could smush them all into the same place. Since I had a few good black and red angels I wanted to make it mardu colors and after I saw Tariel I knew she had to be the one to lead my army of angels.

Since most angels are really very high costed cards I needed some ways to ramp up to them and bring that cost down. While you are ramping up to your giant bomby angel plays your opponents are most likely going to be flooding the board with all kinds of good stuff. That's where the board clears come into play. My playstyle is basically let my opponents do whatever they want, play as many creatures as they want...then nuke the board, possibly multiple times just in case. Tariel rewards you for filling your opponents graves with fresh corpses to reanimate so wrath effects and Tariel go together hand in hand.
