Modern Simic deck centered around +1+1 counters, card draw, and swarming, with a "mutants/slimy creatures " theme.

Rot Shambler

Win cons:

1) Chasm Skulker and Mycoloth as beaters

2) Swarm with Squid token and Saproling Token generated by the previously mentioned, buffed by Master Biomancer ability.

Cards roles:

T1:

Hardened Scales Increases the amount of counters gained by Mycoloth 's devour, Master Biomancer 's ability, and the rest of the spells. It is noteworthy that in the case of the Chasm Skulker, it gives another counter for each drawn card, so if you would draw 3 cards, you would add 6 counters, not 4. It gives the deck a lot of speed to grow your creatures.

Birds of Paradise(000): T1 Mana dork that can become a very efficient evasive beater when you apply him Steroids.

Slitherhead Early chump block. Chosen by its scavenge ability, that paired with a couple of Hardened Scales, can grant your creatures a nifty free buff. Also a target for Rapid Hybridization. Recursive Steroid.

Lategame, both become "devour" fodder for Mycoloth, or a 3/3 (at least) for G if we have Master Biomancer at play.

T2:

Chasm Skulker: Should ideally enter in T2 if you've got an Birds of paradise(000) in T1. He is one of the main win cons. Grow him fast, then blow it to pieces for Swarm.

Lorescale Coatl A sub- Chasm Skulker. Unfortunately, can't be blown up.

Steroids: Master Biomancer , Give/Take, Ordeal of Thassa , Kalonian Hydra , Hardened Scales

To show just how silly it can get:

T1: Forest + Birds of Paradise - T2: Island + Chasm Skulker - T3: Forest + Hardened Scales + Ordeal of Thassa + Rapid Hibridization = 8/8 Chasm Skulker that can be turned into 7x 1/1 squid tokens and a 3/3 Frog lizard token. That's 9 creatures on turn 3!

Return a Bird of paradise or slytherhead with Simic Charm while there is a very pumped up master biomancer, then put it down in the battlefield to have a flying 9/9 for 1 mana

Nutshell:

Birds of Paradise + Hardened Scales + Chasm Skulker + Master Biomancer + Give/Take

Updates Add

I have been tweaking the deck here and there, so I never advocated myself to finishing the description, but a couple of playtests should be able to demonstrate what this deck is capable of.

It was designed primarily to be fun, not so competitive.
