Have a love/hate with the new set.
Omnath, Locus of Creation feels a little less amazing after some playtesting, on the other hand it creates an explosive turn.
There's some powerful Modern potential cards in there, but for the most part the set feels like playing the Invasion block years ago with Domain and Questing Phelddagrif so they get some points for the nostalgiaesque feeling that I'm having.

Figure I should mention this notable exclusion: Questing Phelddagrif . He used to be in the deck as a backup in case Super Hippo got sent to the zone too many times. But Super Hippo barely ever touches the zone thanks to her bounce ability. Questing Phelddagrif's "hippobreathing" ability is pretty nice though, and its ability interacts nicely with Psychic Possession and Smothering Tithe , so I am tempted to run it.

I forgot to mention earlier that a political card can also be cards that give a backhanded gift (ie Nin, the Pain Artist). Also, not listing every curse in Magic's history.

sportcarracer, the Questing Phelddagrif isn't a legendary creature, so the Phelddagrif ends up the Bant group hug commander, also the questing one is more aggressive while the original is less threatening. It also has built-in protection from boardwipes so you don't have to repay the commander tax.

darmpark Looks like fun! Though one of the cards is now banned Prophet of Kruphix but if your playgroup is fine with it then power to ya! I was also going to mention that Questing Phelddagrif isn't Legendary but then I saw the reason in the comments lol.
Also just to touch on your earlier comment, I actually like Phelddagrif more then Rafiq of the Many Mostly because I can bounce him to my hand for one blue which is super strong in my opinion in commander. But I also.... Flying purple hippo too awesome not to. LOL
