Titans' Nest

Enchantment

At the beginning of your upkeep, look at the top card of your library. You may put that card into your graveyard.

Exile a card from your graveyard: Gain . Spend this mana only to cast a coloured spell without in its mana cost.

legendofa, that is actually a good point to consider, and I believe that it should not be too difficult to have a creature with 20 power in this deck, considering that Progenitus is already a 10/10 by default, but I think that I should wait for several more responses, before I make my final decision on this matter.

FormOverFunction, I almost put Titans' Nest in my The Mimeoplasm EDH deck, but its activated ability is slightly too strict in how the mana that it produces can be used.

Actually, how badly do I need Crystal Ball in this deck? It is a nice card, but scrying is rarely as good as direct card drawing, so, if I do not need that card, I can put both enchantments in the deck; does anyone else here think that that is a good idea?

I have progenitus as my commander for my wubrg natural disaster deck, which doesn’t have NEARLY the creatures your deck does, but I’ve had fun with Titans' Nest. It’s got a little surveil-action, and helps you ramp into things. Helps with a board-wipe recovery, a little more consistent land drops (or skipping unneeded lands) and fits nicely as a nest for progenitus! Lol

Out of the Tombs seems okay I guess. I used to run Titans' Nest for the self-mill, but I found it wasn't really necessary. I have a ton of card draw and the graveyard gets filled naturally

Haha Titans' Nest was my first thought as well... just a few colors off :) I wouldn't sweat it too much in this deck though since the main focus is tribal spirits and you only have one Quintorius. You'd probably want to play more copies of him as well as another payoff like Stonebinder's Familiar if you were really going for an exiling strategy, but that would be a different deck at that point.

Quintorius & Hofri should work together, as a creature technically goes to the graveyard when it "dies."

ChrisHansonBiomancin Well crap, I you are right. I just looked up the rulings for it. I should have done that first. Well I see me making a Quintorius, Field Historian plus a Titans' Nest (or something) in my near future.

Though wouldn't Quintorius, Field Historian 's ability reflect off of Hofri Ghostforge 's ability?
