I Fought the Law, and the Law Won

Commander / EDH WU (Azorius)

handmaderobot

This whole reason I came up with this deck, is that I thought that Ephara, God of the Polis kind of sounded like Ephara, God of the Police. So here we are, my police/law and order themed deck. I tried to find as many cards as I could that referenced stuff like prison, jail, authority, law, etc, as well as a bunch of the detain cards.

I really tried to play just those kinds of cards, as I knew going in this was not going to be a competitive deck. Luckily, with the new Ravnica sets, I got a bunch of new toys to play with and upgrade the deck (as much as it can be upgraded anyway.)

I also decided to switch commanders, as I'm sure you've noticed by now. Azor fits the theme well and is just a much stronger card to put at the head of the deck. Ephara can be very powerful, but without the build-around cards needed for her, I feel Azor is a stronger choice.

Hope you all enjoy!
