My sister wants to learn commander at some point but is very overwhelmed by the number of cards you can have but also miffed that you're only allowed one of each spell or fancy lands. I'm very new to commander myself but I want to try my best to make a deck she would be engaged in and the best way to do that I think is have a pair of woodlander girlfriends with big stomping creatures (her favourite creature ever is Brambleweft Behemoth) and fun zappy spells. Feel free to give suggestions, I have until her birthday in December to work something out and buy the cards!
