Here is part 2 to a cycle of 3c decks I'm working on: the animals of magic the gathering

The first deck I built in this cycle was "hoofed animals" and included elks, boars, ox, sheep, goats. This is that deck

This deck is sultai "scaled creatures" and although there are a bunch of lizards in mtg unfortunately they're mostly in red so it just didn't fit the colors.

The main creature types for the deck are as follows

• Snakes (12)
• Turtles (9)
• Crocodiles (10)

The split of the creature types is fairly even, there are obviously more snakes than anything else but they all play well with eachother in different ways.

The theme of the deck is fighting, since most of the snakes have deathtouch they'll be the primary fight creatures, otherwise the fight spells in the deck are mostly pump spells so I can also choose a few crocs to fight here and there.

Of course when creatures fight they also tend to die, so I have cards like Aphetto Dredging and Call of the Death-Dweller among others to get them back in hand/on the battlefield.

The turtles in the deck are mostly in as our defense, high toughness creatures that can hang back and block, not much else to say there!

And this brings us to the commander, Archelos, Lagoon Mystic. There isn't any other commander I even considered for this deck, so no there aren't many synergies with him aside from the flavor of him being a turtle, but there are a decent amount of tapped lands in the deck so it might be nice to have them come in untapped.

This deck is mostly finished now but I am always open to suggestions if you have any!
