@Trogdorwasaman I appreciate your feedback (and am flattered that you're stealing it)! Honestly the main reason I didn't include Riptide Turtle was to keep the creatures as wall-focused as I could get (basically for the lolz). Also Wall of Fog came in clutch during a playtest of the deck as is can defend against deathtouch. Just a cool tidbit. Sylvan Caryatid isn't a bad thought though...

I would recommend few options here. First of all, I would suggest Spectral Sailor over Faerie Duelist as it is cheaper and more effective (draws cards) flyer. Also I suggest to cut Riptide Turtle and Omen of the Dead for 2 copies of Lochmere Serpent because as I see your deck is more about aggro, 1 more copy of Brineborn Cutthroat, and more counterspells. Just one word about each suggested card: Lochmere Serpent - a wonderful finisher which becomes unblockable for just 1 mana and could be returned from graveyard to hand for only 2 mana! This abilities helped me to win when I was playing some similar deck. Brineborn Cutthroat is actually the key card in the deck as it will grow very fast in this deck.

I like the theme, and I think a lot of cards are in place to make a great and fun deck. I would take out a number of creatures in here and replace them with additional copies of Stinging Lionfish and Wavebreak Hippocamp

Riptide Turtle is pretty great in here because is can trigger those cards along with your instants.

a few other cards to consider could be Eat to Extinction Murderous Rider Drown in the Loch Nadir Kraken

Haha, I like this idea! I think this is a good example of too much of a good thing. ;) You're relying a lot of getting your Commander out to make your walls more than walls. As an opponenent, I'd realize this quickly and if I can keep your Commander off the board...I most likely win.

So I would add in some protection for your Commander so you can keep him on the board as long as possible! I would shave some Walls and add in a suite of 10-15 counterspells or enchantments to make your Commander Hexproof. Then you've got a wall for your Wall Commander. lol

Also a couple cards to check out (I know you're trying to keep it on the budget side):

Riptide Turtle Mirror Shield Axebane Guardian
