Are you intending Amalia Benavides Aguirre as the commander? If so, what's your milling plan?

Viscera Seer + Putrid Goblin + Blood Artist + Vizier of Remedies fits in her color identity. Sac Goblin to Seer. (The free sac is the important part, the scry is just a bonus.) Artist drains an opponent's life. Goblin persists back to the battlefield, but Vizier blocks the -1/-1 counter. Then you can start the cycle over for infinite drain.

I was interested in building a deck centered around Amalia Benavides Aguirre & Raise the Past where you basically mill as many pieces as possible, cast Raise the Past & flip into a pile of permanents that can win the game. I was imagining something similar to a Krark-Clan Ironworks combo chain with creatures under 2MV.

Do y’all know of any creature piles that could function like this?

May 3, 2024 I started a new quest. Having built 52 decks, I endeavoured to play them all, in roughly the same order as I created them.

June 14ish

Gay Kings can win through love lost, record goes to 14 -13. How did I lose even after casting Minds Aglow for six, Mob Rule into Insurrection? Cody's Amalia Benavides Aguirre just handled it all. Too much lifegain and other punisher enchantments. .519 win percentage.

Yeah that was exactly my intention to highlight why using legacy as a measurement for pioneer/modern if a card is good isn't reliable. Pioneer and Modern both currently have aggro heavy meta legacy more combo; Although pioneer recently had its ban of Amalia Benavides Aguirre.

I looked at your deck, it seems very cool! I built a Mono-white Lurrus many years ago. Another deck I built recently was Amalia Benavides Aguirre. I think you might appreciate the way she can sort through your deck with your strong lifegain theme. She will keep your hand full of lands for consistent drops, and filter things you want into the yard. Storm of Souls is another good tool to grab your yard back.

It's clear you put a lot of love into the deck, so I hardly see the need for suggestions! Truly, it looks great!
