This deck is part of a project I'm working on, currently called the "5-Color-Kamigawa-Kirin-Challenge," which will essentially be a 5-player EDH game involving each of these colors, with themes corresponding to Kamigawa-era Magic.

The Infernal Kirin deck is thematically supposed to reflect the dismal, ugly, and loathsome spirits lurking amongst the plane. And even if you banish the spirits back to their graveyard, they're guaranteed to take a little piece of you with them- or they will come back.
