This is a precon meant to introduce the concept of partnering two commanders up to achieve a more varied gameplan, and I thought what tribe best suits theme of teaming up more than slivers? The base build aims to land Dormant Sliver early to keep a steady stream of card advantage flowing, whereas Lavabelly Sliver aims to leverage that card advantage into a repeatable source of damage.
