Doombeard1984 on Getting Slivvy With It

Hi B0NGUS,
Your deck came up in the feed so thought I would drop in and see how its going. Seeing a few alterations. Here is a bit of food for thought though:
- Diffusion Sliver out for Crystalline Sliver - Dont make it cost more for your enemies to target your stuff. Make it so they cant lol
- Talon Sliver out for Striking Sliver . Its a better costed version of the same card.
- Grow from the Ashes out for either Nature's Lore or a Skyshroud Claim . These would enable you to get a shock land, not just a basic, and Skyshroud enables you to get 2 or them. Even works with the Triomes.
Just some ideas. Also a question for you. How are you getting on using the Sliver in disguise in the deck. You finding it is helping your plays? I have considered it, as it gives access to the top of my library as well as being a Sliver in most ways. I probably run a load less slivers and so would be a bit less effective, but I am curious about the results.

I would include a little more as far as ramp/mana rocks go.
Specifically in a five color deck Farseek and Skyshroud Claim can grab your duals which helps a lot. Tempt with Discovery can grab any land(s).
I see you have Arcane Signet , it's little brother Fellwar Stone is also a great include in any 5-color deck (depending on your playgroup). Sol Ring is also a notable rock.
I would look into the big splashy tribal cards from commander 2017. Kindred Discovery is expensive but it offers up insane card advantage. Kindred Dominance is a one-sided wipe, and Kindred Charge gives you twice as much sliver per sliver!
And while enchantments are easy to remove, I find that Kindred Boon goes a long way.
As far as cuts, I would look at slivers that aren't amazing. Virulent Sliver is probably the first that I would cut. If you don't outright kill people the turn it drops then it will just get killed and the poison counters won't matter (unless of course, somebody else in your group runs a poison deck). Maybe Clot Sliver and Talon Sliver as well, I'm not really sure what else above those however, I guess it depends on what effects you want redundancy on.
+1 from me, I love tribal decks.

I would like to recommend Ephemerate , which would just basically be a spell that says 1 white, destroy a permanent, then destroy a permanent at the beginning of each of your upkeep, granted you have a scarecrow on the field. Valiant Changeling will usually just cost 2 white because of other changelings for a 3/3 Doublestriker. Morophon, the Boundless is also just a powerful card that makes things easier to cast in the lategame, especially your commander. Mirror Entity is a great spell for a lategame rushdown. If you really want to, throw in Amrou Scout , Defiant Falcon , and/or Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero to pull out important changelings from your library. Throw in some monuments, like Bontu's Monument and Oketra's Monument to help ramp while gaining benefits for playing your scarecrows and changelings. If you like your changelings enough, maybe throw in a sliver like Talon Sliver or Dregscape Sliver to get even more use out of them. I fyou like these, you may want to lean more into white in your mana base.

Why do you think I need Basics, jaiaisaiah? Yes, Striking Sliver is better than Talon Sliver and I would like to eventually include it but supporting a 4th colour would require a more expensive mana-base than I can currently afford. Bonescythe Sliver is powerful but 4 mana is a lot for this deck; what are you suggesting I remove to include it?

So I'm unearthing some cards when i used to play back 5-6 years ago.
I came across a sliver deck i was building but never remember finishing or playing with.
Looks like it's mostly green and white silvers.
Any advice on slimming it down to 60 cards.
Or any cards that would be a good addition. Never played with a deck without any instants or enchanments.. Is this how sliver decks are though. Hard to remember what i was doing 6 years ago when i started building this deck LOL
Not totally sure how this deck wins.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Spinneret Sliver should be put on sideboard and you should try to obtain 2 Talon Slivers, if they aren't too expensive.
