"Yo, Ho Haul Together, Hoist the Colours High / Heave Ho, Thieves and Beggars, Never Shall We Die!"

Welcome to my Artifacts-Matter Pirates deck, led by Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider and her crew!

The synergy of the deck is based on what Pirates love the most: getting shiny objects, burning, and stealing. The deck is filled with cards like Cutthroat Negotiator or Gemcutter Buccaneer that create treasure tokens, others like Breeches, Brazen Plunderer or Treasure Nabber that steal cards from your opponents, and others like Cathartic Pyre and Mizzium Mortars that deal burn damage. Because Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider really cares about her artifacts, the deck is full of them, especially vehicles. After all, what are pirates without their ships?

This deck has a wincon with no frills:

There are some infinite combos in this deck, but because most of them don't involve my commander, it is unlikely they will be played very often. Anyway Arcane Adaptation + Hedron Detonator + Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator , Arcane Adaptation + Ingenious Artillerist + Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator , and Arcane Adaptation + Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator + Reckless Fireweaver can ping opponents to lethal.

Among the non-infinite combos, one that can be useful to go wide (especially for crewing vechicles and for chump blocking) and quickly buff your pirates is Animation Module + Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider . This is also the basis for Animation Module + Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider + Reckless Fireweaver , Animation Module + Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider + Ingenious Artillerist , and Animation Module + Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider + Hedron Detonator , which can be used to deal significant burn damage to your opponents.

In conclusion, this is a fun deck that you can build with a low budget (I built it with 30£) and that will allow you to bring some marauding and piracy spirit to the table. If you liked what you saw, don't forget to upvote the deck, and if you have any comment or suggestion, I would be very happy to read them!
