yo. here's an ongoing list of stuff like high-ceiling cards or cards with unique effects that I genuinely feel have a home somewhere. most cards here tend to be underappreciated, undervalued, underrepresented, etc... lots of niche but useful effects, odd or uncommon combinations of effects, effects that are only good when a deck really wants em. think, like, Immolating Souleater in Kylox, Visionary Inventor, but also in Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, Kresh the Bloodbraided, Jolene, Plundering Pugilist, etc etc. maybe you're a psycho who wants a high power creature for Rishkar's Expertise but wants to win with Near-Death Experience. just sayin' lol

some included cards can be a part of combos that aren't immediately apparent. like, for instance, creatures that tap/untap themselves like Aphetto Alchemist can be paired with Temporal Distortion or Freyalise's Winds, then hit with Parting Thoughts to make a Necropotence effect in a pinch. or an infinite army of inklings with Felisa, Fang of Silverquill. the alchemist is also pretty great with Well Rested and every high value artifact/creature that likes tapping. there's a lot of those these days, just look at Throne of Eldraine!
