theNeroTurtle Thanks for the interest.
This deck is one of 11 commanders decks I have, so the budget is usually very low. I also only play my decks in casual settings for recreation with friends, also lowering the budget.
The kind of suggestions I'm looking for would be ones that go with the theme and tone the deck has already set, rather than a suggestion to change 95% of the deck to "make it match the current meta".
Ideally what would interest me most would be:
-
Creatures with a typically (but not always) low mana cost that either have haste, generate creatures that have haste, boost my treasure production, or cause/benefit from impulse draw.
-
I could be interested in more cards like Gold Rush and Nettlecyst, but don't want to go in a voltron direction.
-
Efficient and repeatable ways to make all my attacking creatures survive attacking to use them to generate more treasure for me to help the deck sustain itself.
-
Any impulse draw that resembles the ones already in the deck, and if they benefit from or for treasures in any way that's a bonus.
The most important part of a suggestion though is the why. I'm open to anyone's suggestions if they can tell me why that is there suggestion. If you have a good and sensible reason for offering up that card, I'd be more than happy to discuss the pros and cons of them.
Some suggestions end up not working simply for reasons other people couldn't even know about, like budget as you mentioned. But also your playgroup, and for me what other cards I have in my other decks. I like all my decks to be different, so I try not to do the same thing in any of my decks. Sometimes my response is "That's a great suggestion, but I use that card for this in another deck where it helps the deck more, and I don't want do it in two decks. Would absolutely work though."
