I need creature combos to go in a Momir Vig EDH deck. Obviously, the combos can only use blue or green creatures. The combos may also use artifacts, because I can use Arcum Dagsson to get them into play.

Experiment Kraj , Gilder Bairn (hello there, planeswalkers), Lorescale Coatl (can get very powerful in this situation), Murkfiend Liege , Plaxcaster Frogling (defend your general, etc), Pygmy Hippo , Simic Sky Swallower , Sturdy Hatchling , Fable of Wolf and Owl (gets good quickly), Trygon Predator , Overbeing of Myth , Shorecrasher Mimic , Snakeform , Voidslime .

I would also use Archmage Ascension , since you can use Cold-Eyed Selkie , Gilder Bairn , and Simic/blue draw cards to help it get counters. card:Sensei's Divining Top and card:Diviner's Wand work amazingly well with it, too.

wow. i like the ascension suggestion, and all of those blue green creatures kick butt and trigger both parts of momir vig. nice.

It kind depends on if you want a fun deck for casual play or a broken deck that wont make you any friends ;-). I play momir so excuse me if this gets a little long...

Drift of Phantasms is easily the 2nd most important card to have (after Momir), the reason for this is that it can search for Cloudstone Curio , Freed from the Real /card:Pemmin's Aura and so many other usefull non creatures with cmc=3 (I will mention more).

The biggest strength of a Momir deck is that it can have an answer for everything and consistantly get it out whenever you want. For an efficient search mechanism, use cards like Slippery Bogle (my 3rd most valuable card) or Coiling Oracle with a Cloudstone Curio . You play Slippery Bogle for one, you search for something & draw it, you play something, you return Slippery Bogle to your hand, repeat. You get a consistent search for 1 extra mana and it gives you a ridiculous amount of card advantage (besides its hilarious watching my friends scramble to kill a hexproof 1/1, theyve learned to fear him).

Another very important thing is that youve got to protect Momir as he is a puny 2/2 and (when killed) becomes very expensisve to cast very quickly. This can be this can be done a number of ways, creature counters include Draining Whelk , Mystic Snake , Plaxmanta , Glen Elendra Archmage & there are a few others. Another method is bounceing Momir to your hand by using creatures with flash and Cloudstone Curio or something like Wizard Mentor . Plaxcaster Frogling , Whispersilk Cloak or Darksteel Plate can also work or things that buff Momir like Murkfiend Liege etc.

Ive found that another big element is mana ramp creatures. I like to get Momir out turn 3-4 and then have plenty of mana for lots of combo's. I personally use elves as a base and then use things like Fertilid -Forgotten Ancient (getting Roil Elemental out here is a game winner), Frontier Guide etc. Another option (if your going more for win rather than fun) is infinite mana combo's. In a good Momir deck you can consistently go infinite turn 4-6 and when you do, you usually win that turn, ill list a few,

Argothian Elder ,card:Pemmin's Aura/Freed from the Real and any land that taps for 2 Simic Growth Chamber etc or elder & Wirewood Lodge and then any elf that taps for 2 mana (Elvish Archdruid ) etc non basic lands can be found with Primeval Titan but if you put enough in there, odds are youl start with one in your hand.

Staff of Domination /Umbral Mantle and something like Priest of Titania .

A creature to untap Artifacts, Thousand-Year Elixir and a mana creature.

Things like Cloud of Faeries and lands that tap for 2 or more.

Intruder Alarm or Pestermite + Cloudstone Curio & mana creatures

The list goes on these are just some of the better ones ive found work in my deck, google infinite mana combo to see more examples.

Other damn handy things are,

Shrieking Drake Use its ability to bounce itself, free draw for 1 blue mana & other uses.

Aluren wins you the game.

Thornwind Faeries + Quietus Spike

Kederekt Leviathan is just funny.

Dryad Arbor just handy.

Eternal Witness .

Essence Warden .

Murkfiend Liege + Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Glen Elendra Pranksters /Cloudstone Curio - game winner.

Winged Coatl .

Genesis Wave which you can Drift of Phantasms out

Then theres things to deal with opponents and actually win the game like Acidic Slime , Clone , Steel Hellkite , Master of the Wild Hunt , a few of the things I mentioned above, etc (I could go on all day here but I wont).

I havnt got my current decklist up here (ill put it up in a week or two) but ive got a few old ones if you want to look. Hope this helped

good for you lol.

There is nothing worth mentioning (that ive found so far) its at least twice as fast to get an infinite mana combo rather than try and search for it. But if you have it in your opening hand things get pretty funny.
