Here to seize the initiative and venture into the dungeon? Then Rilsa Rael, Kingpin welcomes you to the Undercity Thieves' Guild!

Treasure and riches abound in the dungeon of Undercity and the streets of Baldur's Gate. It's your job to amass all manner of valuables to grow the guild's wealth and mana; from Sol Ring to Sky Diamond, Talisman of Dominance or Dimir Signet to get you through the city gates, or the Treasure Map   and Navigation Orb to help delve the dungeons, there is more than enough wealth to go around. Our guild's signature weapons are the Prying Blade and Goldvein Pick, nifty little tools for helping recover that difficult-to-get treasure. Just ask Zhentarim Bandit, Prosperous Thief, Hoard Robber, and Grim Hireling for some tips if you're struggling. Seems to me like they know all the hot spots. And don't forget to bring whatever you find to our master fence, Safana, Calimport Cutthroat. Find something really impressive in the depths of the Undercity, and she can fetch a hefty sum for it!

If you're not in need of some cold hard cash, you can trade in your valuables with Anowon, the Ruin Thief or Sygg, River Cutthroat for some valuable intel on your next run into the dungeon. Imoen, Mystic Trickster is Safana's partner-in-crime, and has a way at getting you a little more bang for your buck. And just about any of our members can ply their Black Market Connections for a little coin or information. Otherwise, you can help out around the guild by getting intel yourself: we actively support Coastal Piracy along the Chionthar River, and fellow guild members would appreciate you running a Reconnaissance Mission for them.

I know what you're thinking: the dungeon is a dangerous place, full of all sorts of monsters! At first glance, Displacer Beasts are pretty tricky, Acererak the Archlich will chase you around forever, and Grazilaxx, Illithid Scholar looks like he wants to eat your brain. Just remember: the Displacer Beast guards the best paths forward, Acererak only chases you down safe paths if you stay out of his private dungeon, and Grazilaxx is surprisingly helpful at getting you out of a bad fight. As far as I'm concerned, they are all honorary members of the guild and should be treated as such. Besides, some of our official guild members are a little monstrous, from the snake-folk Slither Blade, Yuan-Ti Fang-Blade and Yuan-Ti Malison; to the Stinkdrinker Bandit and his awful stench-shell; or even Mari, the Killing Quill being a literal vampire. You'll get used to the weirdos the longer you hang around.

At any rate, we have some seriously experienced dungeon runners to help you get started. Krydle of Baldur's Gate is my second in command, and can show you all manner of shortcuts like the Rogue's Passage we use to get to the guild hall, or the Access Tunnel hidden behind the Secret Door that leads into the Undercity. Alora, Merry Thief not only gets you where you want to go safely, she gets you right back out again with even less trouble. Whirler Rogue's nifty gadgets can take you pretty far too (but don't forget you can bribe your way in with a little Treasure just as well). You'll be as skilled as some of our guild's elite in no-time, like Triton Shorestalker, Cephalid Facetaker, or the Invisible Stalker himself!

So grab your Dungeoneer's Pack and Fifty Feet of Rope, the Dungeon Map to lead you in and the Trailblazer's Torch to light your way down the Dungeon Descent. You'll be bringing back all manner of wondrous treasure in no time: from the Conjurer's Closet to the Mirror of Life Trapping for some powerful tools to venture faster; or Sarevok's Tome to summon help in a pinch; the Panharmonicon that was lost to time; maybe even the fabled Sword of Hearth and Home. We'll make a true Dungeon Delver out of you yet!
