If you can get Zirilan to stick around a while, you can tutor up all kinds of answers.

Need to kill a thing? Kilnmouth Dragon or Crimson Hellkite will take care of it for you.

The thing is an artifact? Hellkite Tyrant wants it to be your thing. Failing that, Hoard-Smelter Dragon wants it to be no-one's thing.

Too many creatures? Balefire Dragon's got you covered. Thunder Dragon's got her covered. (Siege Dragon will have them both covered one day when she grows up and stops worrying about walls.)

Bored with attacking only once per turn? Hellkite Charger and Scourge of the Throne know just what'll lift your spirits.

Need to play politics? Hunted Dragon is an expert Negotiator. Mana-Charged Dragon is all about bringing people together.

Someone plays a board wipe? (that someone was you?) Worldgorger Dragon is ready to take one for the team.

There are lots of ways to dodge the inevitable "the dragons cease to exist" clause. Tutoring up a Hoarding Dragon to throw under the bus of some enormous attack is a good way to get a Sundial of the Infinite into your hand. The fridges are more fun (and seem less cheaty), though they don't work nearly as well with Flameshadow Conjuring.

The divining top will keep dragons out of your hand. Also, when your general shuffles your library, it generates some absurd digging potential. About as close as mono-red gets to Sylvan Library.
