Sideboard

Most players seem to focus on Kaust's morph ability, but I believe this is not the optimal use of this commander. The strength lies more in the cloak and manifest abilities, where only instant and sorcery spells will disappear when they are turned face-up. Everything else is a mana-cheat. The morph and disguise abilities are utilities that help, but they are not the main focus.

The strategy is to cheat permanents into play early using Kaust's ability. This ability also ensures that if a face-up creature deals damage to a player that turn, you get to draw a card, maintaining pressure. The manifest/cloak ability creates a wide creature presence that can be bolstered with anthem effects. The ultimate goal is to finish off players through creature damage and recover quickly from board wipes.

1-8-2024: Added additional removal spells in the form of enchantments, since Manifest and Cloak still function effectively with them. I found out that the cards I placed in my sideboard do not work when manifested because their ETB effects don't trigger. That was a stupid mistake.
