Master of Metal

Control based artifact deck centered around Gifts Ungiven and Master Transmuter. The goal is to cast artifacts for as cheap as possible.

Infinite Combo

Sharuum the Hegemon+Sculpting Steel+Disciple of the Vault

Gifts

Gifts Ungiven: Gifts gives all the options. Use to either set up the infinite combo or aquire beaters.

• Combo: Use Gifts to grab:Sharuum the Hegemon+Sculpting Steel+Disciple of the Vault+Unburial Rites This combination of cards allows us to grab everything we need to play our combo.
• Beaters: Sharuum the Hegemon+Unburial rights+Master Transmuter+beater. A good fourth option is Sphinx Summoner to pair with transmuter.

Transmuter

Master Transmuter: We'll use her as much as possible. Combined with Voltaic Key and Unwinding Clock, we'll be able to abuse the tap ability multiple times in a turn, or during opponents turns. It's very easy to dodge removal spells by tapping her on the stack. Combine with Sphinx Summoner to tutor artifacts repeatedly.

Beaters

• Master of Etherium: buffs other creatures. Really effective with Thopter army support.
• Scuttling Doom Engine
• Sphinx Sovereign
• Sphinx of the Steel Wind
• Sharding Sphinx: Thopter army and tutor bait maker.

Enchantments

• Thopter Spy Network Provides Thopter army, convoke bait, transmuter bait, chump blockers, and additional draws.
• Metallurgic Summonings: Useful for creating creatures when casting.

Control

• Authority of the Consuls: To slow down the bad guys.
• Unsummon & Path to Exile: Stalling and removing creature threats.
• Fracture: For artifacts, enchantments, and planeswalkers.
• Disallow: Slightly expensive for a counter but allows us to also counter abilities, which is very useful. With all mana generated by artifacts, the price isn't an issue.
• Punish Ignorance: Salt in the wound kind of counter. Also expensive, but very fun to use.

Mana

• Ornithopter of Paradise: When you don't have birds of paradise, you create your own.
• Campus Guide: Land tutor. Can use transmuter to abuse it's impact ability. In many cases I've been able to transmuter the guide out and into the battlefield to tutor a land. Then draw it with Thopter Foundry to play the same turn.
• Obelisk of Esper: Mana fix
• Everflowing Chalice: Large amounts of mana.
