Opal-Eye is an extremely unique commander, and I've chosen to make him a damage prevention/redirection deck focused on using cheap damage prevention spells to get through the early game into the mid to late game where we can cast some big silly spells. Also, there is a slight Voltron theme in enchanting Opal-Eye with a few damage-prevention Auras and sitting back and just blocking anything you can.

There are many ways to upgrade this deck, and this version is still very much a preliminary version of the deck as I am still testing with it. Upgrades for the top-end would be cards like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Archangel of Thune, Reveillark/Karmic Guide combo, etc.

I really enjoy playing this deck, as it's very casual and fun to pilot if you like playing defensively. Also, you get to play with some really old cards that would normally be not very good, but they really shine in this deck.

One upgrade path I would recommend is adding in more walls/defensive creatures. I'm still working on this part in finding a good balance between creatures and damage prevention. Also, getting cards like Land Tax and Tithe would help out a lot as well.

Update: This deck needs a win-con of some sort. It did nothing but durdle.
