This is the bare bones of a Hollow One deck, but it lacks any personal touches, or for that matter any interaction. If you goldfish this deck it's probably fine, par the odd hand where you get 2 swamps, Hollow One is still essentially a red deck and non-red sources suck in your opening hand, to that end I'd recommend you drop 2 swamps. I'd also recommend you drop 2 mountains (you still have 20 land, two more than most), this frees up 4 slots. Add 4x of one of the following cards; Lightning Bolt, Fatal Push, Inquisition of Kozilek, Rakdos Charm, Fiery Temper, Terminate or Dreadbore. Or maybe you would prefer something a little more left field, how about; Tainted Strike, Traitor's Clutch, Key to the City, Hellspark Elemental, Grafted Wargear, Barrage of Boulders and numerous others...

I run a Hollow One deck, but it has my own spin on it Power 4 is Ferocious, sure many of the cards are the same as yours, but it's undeniably my deck. Adding more land doesn't make Hollow One better, well unless you play Magmatic Insight. Hope this helps and inspires you to take a risk (Risk Factor would be another option) with your deck, good luck.

The Hollow One decks which share many cards with this, get away with 18 land, but then again you are trying to create an evasive Soulflayer with double strike which you can cast Tainted Strike on for the win. That is a fair few ifs... My first suggestion to you is swap Swiftblade Vindicator for Adorned Pouncer, it can still be Soulflayer food, but the option exists to Eternalize, giving you another shot at a 4/4 with double strike. This is slightly more edgy, you could drop Tainted Strike for Traitor's Clutch, Shadow might as well grant a creature can't be blocked and all your other creatures are dealing damage already...

I'm playing a similar deck to yours at the moment, but I am using Hollow One (shameless plug Power 4 is Ferocious), one of my experiences with that deck is that, it's still essentially a red deck and non-red sources suck in your opening hand, I'm thinking Concealed Courtyard here, which is only good in your opening hand. Hopefully this gives you some ideas, good luck with your brew.

Thanks again! Guess I will doing quite a bit of tinkering w/ this one. Definitely will check out the video you posted ASAP, and considering taking the "beaters" out in favor of unblockable stuff like Traitor's Clutch and Whispersilk Cloak.... also, Swan Song has been suggested as a good counterspell option.

Something to consider might actually be mono-black control with Yargle as a finisher. Maybe I'm wrong and you could just outspeed people with Yargle's IMMENSE POWER but I think he's a bit too high cmc in colours that don't necessarily allow for much evasion/protection to just get in ASAP. Typical mono B control stuff looks like this:

Corrupt + Gray Merchant of Asphodel + Pestilence + Crypt Rats + Evincar's Justice

Feel free to disagree tho, 2 swings and Yargle kills someone without any buffs in PDH which is pretty DANK. Just going all in on evasion could probably just do it in some metas. Fear & Intimidate are available in black plentifully to boot. Sleeper's Guile & Traitor's Clutch.

Nice take on the Hollow One deck (have a +1), but I have to ask why only 2 Leyline of the Void? Wouldn't you be better with 3x of it instead of the 1x Nihil Spellbomb? Or for that matter just use Nihil Spellbomb as your graveyard removal.

I run a version of this deck myself Zombie Hollow one, I've added a few cards to my maybe board from your list, including Grafted Wargear and figured I could return the favour with a few cards you might not have seen.

  • Crater Elemental, this creature can slip under Ensnaring Bridge and getting 8 power isn't much of a restriction in this deck.

  • Traitor's Clutch, this grants Shadow, in terms of evasion there isn't much better.

  • Edge of Autumn, I've had this in my deck, then removed it... I'm not sure if it is worth including or not, but it is an interesting option.

  • Nim Devourer, I'm not going to say this is good, more a pet card, still it seems to work ok in my take on the deck, I guess its a little like you running Squee, Goblin Nabob.

zambasss, I cloned your deck as I've been messing around with something similar, with a few differences.

  1. Goblin Lore replaced with Zombie Infestation, this one is budget, I just don't have the Lores
  2. Gurmag Angler replaced with Nim Devourer, I've always had a soft spot for the Nim but in this case it can recur itself and will still triggers Ferocious
  3. Lastly Traitor's Clutch instead of Fiery Temper and Call to the Netherworld, granting evasion and we want to discard it

I'm still tweaking things but maybe this gives you a few extra ideas, least I can do since cloning your deck saved me a bunch of typing :)

Really cool build! I love generator servant and MoC.

Your build seems like an exhibition or proof of concept of how aggressively you can push master of cruelties, but as it stands right now, the deck definitely seems like a glass cannon. What are your intentions with this deck? Are you looking to push the deck into a more competitive, versatile, or resilient shell? Are you looking for sideboard ideas? Or are you more pushing for funsies and trying to make it faster?

Your current build seems pretty well optimized for speed. Maybe something like Traitor's Clutch can help you push past pesky blockers. Heartless Summoning and Break Through the Line might be able to do work here.

I like this deck, though I would recommend keeping a Pyromancer Ascension or two it's a great way of copying those cards, with the CMC of your cards being very low, 4 lockets might cause you some dead draws, I would cut it down to 2 or 3 (leaning more towards the two). Mystic Retrieval may work for you as well to grab some of the spells late game, and a copy or two of Traitor's Clutch can give you some interesting hits against creature decks, though that card will pretty much depend on your metagame.
