I was going through my full-art basics a few days ago, and realized that I have a bunch of assorted Amonkhet and Hour of Devastation full-art basics (32 to be precise) that I would never put in decks because I just prefer Battle for Zendikar full-art basics. Does anybody feel the opposite and want to swap? I have no particular preference about type or art, as long as it's from Battle for Zendikar.

I think in a casual setting, that was perfectly justifiable. It's not a trigger, so you can't miss it. It's like if a player attempted to play Supreme Verdict without having two White mana.

GreenFire317 I might be misreading, but your first sentence looks like you're trying to say that only new Magic players play 60-card formats. If so, that statement is hilariously false. The issue with Dash Hopes is that any deck that's looking to play the long game (i.e. wants Counterspell ) rarely tries to kill its opponent fast enough that 5 life is worth a card. There's a reason the card is a common. Show me a Modern deck that made Day 2 at a GP or similar event that plays Dash Hopes . I'll wait.
