Ornamental Courage

Instant

Untap target creature. It gets +1/+3 until end of turn.

Thank you for your suggestions!

king-saproling Untapping her is a great way. Im thinking of Burst of Strength ( untap plus ping prevention), Emerald Charm, Ornamental Courage, Stony Strength and Sudden Spinnerets.

Reason being they are instants. So that they may trigger the Krark once more. What are your thoughts?

Knowledge Pool lean towards win-more card to a key piece to this deck. Will miss it.

However, Possibility Storm sounds fun! Definitely giving it a shot in near games.

That being said, solid includes in general include Abbey Matron , Brightling , Ensouled Scimitar (probably too slow but hey, +5/5 is wicked), if you're up against someone going wide, Give No Ground could be good, Honor Guard is really not bad, Might of Oaks is wicked, Ornamental Courage is Giant Growth with a free untap, Shape the Sands is super Giant Growth, Shield Mate is a solid bluff, Steady Aim is super Titanic Growth , Thornling , and Abzan Beastmaster ?

So a Freed from the Real variant? Umbral Mantle / Sword of the Paruns / Staff of Domination is traditional.

I like the idea of green untap spells though- Burst of Strength / Stony Strength / Ornamental Courage 's single mana cost could offer some serious ramp and could back Inspiring Call and Gyre Sage .

Thousand-Year Elixir hasn't found a deck it fits in yet either, since Swiftfoot Boots is usually better, but this has options to play it.

I think I'll be adding more Ornamental Courage to the deck. This deck seems to be working best when it's totally agro. Having those two additional untap cards for our Elvish Archdruid , Priest of Titania , or Timberwatch Elf is often the difference between non-lethal and lethal. The (+1/+3) also can protect our pieces from early Lightning Bolts!. To make room I took out the Nature's Claim .

I also took out the Hunter's Insight . I was finding that it was only getting played during games that were already won. Glimpse of Nature , Sylvan Library or Worldly Tutor would be better card draw options, but I'm thinking simply adding more bees might be the best solution.

Hi JessT! It looks like Armadillo Cloak isn't modern legal!

I might consider consolidating some of your creatures and instead of having two of a bunch of different creatures, choose a few that you'd really like to see come out in a game and give yourself 3 or 4 of them.

I might also think about adding some more cards with a CMC, so that you have a better chance of being able to throw something out there on your first turn.

A cool thing you could possibly do with Pheres-Band Raiders and Pheres-Band Tromper is use cards like Beacon Hawk, Act of Heroism, Aim High, Djeru's Resolve, Gift of Growth, Ornamental Courage, or Prepare to untap them after they've attacked and activate their abilities.

I'm also worried about Pheres-Band Warchief being in there, because if it's out on the battlefield, cards like Pheres-Band Raiders and Pheres-Band Tromper will have vigilance, and thus not tap when they attack and not be able to activate their untap abilities.

I hope some of this is useful!

Cerulean Wisps? It cantrips, and it can power out a little bigger spell. Refocus doesn't seem as good- its a poor Manamorphose at best. Ornamental Courage might work as bolt protection. Second Wind is interesting in that it can power out quite a large spell the turn after its played, but it isn't a 'go infinte' option. Thassa's Ire is interesting in that it isn't an aura, but the mana requirement makes it hard to work with. I've never made Thousand-Year Elixir work.

There's a couple of underwhelming creatures in there is my first thought; namely Ninth Bridge Patrol, Countless Gears Renegade and Kujar Seedsculptor. Not to add too many more into the Maybe list - but I think Oviya Pashiri, Sage Lifecrafter and Mentor of the Meek are worth considering.

An easy upgrade to Feat of Resistance or Ornamental Courage would be Heroic Intervention to catch your whole team. Righteous Charge could be improved upon - Collective Effort maybe. Similarly, you could switch Highspire Infusion for something with a bit more reach. The 'strive' cards are mana intensive, maybe someone's got better suggestions but... Solidarity of Heroes, Colossal Heroics, Nature's Panoply.

I know you are over on cards at the mo anyway but there's a large proportion of lands so if you're aiming at a similar ratio you'll want something to make use of that (Savage Conception?)... or just drop it down a bit... or add more card draw to get to your gas/impact cards.

Also, the 'fog's seem a bit unnecessary?

I feel like I've caused more questions than answers for you haha! Sorry :)
