Why not use White Shapeshifters? Mirror Entity, Brightling, and Irregular Cohort are probably better than a few of those filler Myr. I've never seen a mono-colored Myr deck with Teshar before. This is a very fun and original build. Props!

I noticed that as soon as Fiery Emancipation was spoiled. A supercycle like this can take years to complete though, the Morphling -cycle ( AEtherling , Torchling , Brightling , Thornling , Endling ) took from Urza's Saga (1998) or Planar Chaos (2007), depending how you count, to Modern Horizons (2019) to complete. So it's a fun thing to look out for, but don't hold your breath for the next tripler enchantment '^^

What would you want the blue, white and black ones to triple?

Triple life is an easy, and slightly boring thing for white to triple, of course, triple cards (like a better Teferi's Ageless Insight ) makes sense for blue. I'm not sure what resource black would triple though, nothing obvious that black creates, better than the other colours.

"stax is viable, and relies mostly on artifacts for most locks."

There are still a crap tonne of white stax cards. From Linvala, Keeper of Silence to Aven Mindcensor and Spirit of the Labyrinth, these are used to slow the game down to White's speed.

If you then look at where white wants to play:

  • slower than red: waiting unitl red runs out of steam

  • faster than green: white is designed to shut down green's ramp so that it can't play big things

  • faster than blue but slower than red: but tries to shut out blue's control elements which is often why you see a lot of token generation on land in white

  • on pace with black: black and white are just stright up designed to be in direct opposition, unlike the other three colours

And as a general rule, white focuses less on winning hte hand game and more on winning the boardstate game. That's why there are so many white midrange cards that are just pure value. It's part ofthe reason why Brightling is placed where it is on mana cost.

I think the big issue here and where there is going to be the biggest disconnect between my opinion and a bunch of others' opinions is because of EDH. White and to a lesser extent red both suffer when the goalposts are moved from a two player, 20 life format to a 4 player, 40 life format. I'm not going to deny that. As someone who has a mono-white Balan, Wandering Knight deck, I do know the struggles that mono-white can feel.

But the issue is that you can't just look at white in the context of one format. Any cards that you're creating here which would undoubtedly make white better in EDH would tip the scales too hard in white's favour in all of the other formats that had the cards available. Or the cards would be crap and unplayable to to the point where they wouldn't help the EDH decks anyway. And look, I've heard some thoughts about cards that scale with the number of opponents which would be the best fix if one were needed (as to have the least impact on the other formats) But I just don't think that they're required.

In addition to this, I don't think that the points I have made undermine any of my previous points. Yes, mono-white in EDH has some defecits due to the format change, however a lot of the stax effects hurt all opponents equally, so they still work pretty well.

But it's important for EDH-only (and especially casual EDH-only) players to keep all of this in mind - any new cards you add will affect other formats. So while EDH is definitely a popular format, it should not dictate how white works.

Vizier of the Menagerie was the first mythic I ever pulled (actually my friend opened the pack so...) but it has a special place in my heart anyways. Another card that I like is Brightling I love this cycle of creatures and I pulled this one not too long ago. It's kind of a pet card for me.

Hey, good budget version and interesting description. Nice Demonic Tutor :)

Cards $2 or less each to consider adding:

You want more protection for the creature you mutate too because without protection the mutate creature can be killed in response to being mutated or after. In multiplayer Commander mutate is much more of a problem because there's three or more opponents who could have removal. That's a lot more potential removal you have to deal with than if you were playing 1v1.

Swiftfoot Boots gives the equipped creature hexproof meaning that creature can't be targeted by your opponents removal. Boots is an equipment, it can be equipped to any creature you control and it doesn't leave the battlefield when the equipped creature is removed. Open the Armory is a budget tutor that can get Boots.

Flying and double strike is a good combination to do Commander damage with Snapdax. Hushbringer is powerful disruption in multiplayer Commander since it prevents all creatures who have an enter the battlefield ability that triggers and any creature who has a dies ability that triggers. These two types of triggers are ways for players to gain a lot of value from creatures. Hushbringer is not going to affect you much since mutating is not an enter the battlefield trigger it's a cast trigger thus Hushbringer doesn't prevent mutating.

Will-o'-the-Wisp is a one drop flying creature who can regenerate. This little Spirit can be powerful with mutate. Brightling is a unique creature with mutate since you can bounce it as well as all creatures that are mutated back to your hand. This is pseudo protection because you can activate Brightling in response to opponents removal. By bouncing all the creatures that are mutated then you can mutate them all again getting more value out of mutate.

When Snapdax dies you can choose to spend it to your graveyard instead of putting it back into the Command Zone. This gets around having to pay Commander tax for Snapdax and the tax must be paid even if you're mutating Snapdax from the Command Zone which can be problematic. When Snapdax goes to your graveyard then you can recur it with cards that recur creatures from your graveyard. Phyrexian Reclamation is very good repeatable recursion at instant speed for mutate creatures because you want the creature to come back to your hand to then cast it again to mutate again.

Cards to consider cutting:

Good luck with your deck.

Played about 4 games now and some changes were made let me know what you think...
The following were added: Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Soul Warden, Aetherflux Reservoir, Sun Titan, Linden, the Steadfast Queen, Ajani's Pridemate, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, Smothering Tithe, Soul's Attendant, Suture Priest, Flawless Maneuver, Altar of the Pantheon.

In replacement of the following; Skybind, Gerrard's Battle Cry, Daybreak Coronet, Consecrate Land, Celestial Dawn, Order of Leitbur, Glittering Lion, Clergy of the Holy Nimbus, Order of the White Shield, Brightling, Herald of Anafenza, and Knight of the Holy Nimbus

Celestial Dawn was hard to remove, but i was unsure how it worked with Blood Moon or Emeria, The Sky Ruin. So let me know your thoughts. I went more life gain, but it keeps me around a bit longer. With most of the creatures being low powered unless pumped up by other creatures, something was needed Sun Titan gets things back the mana cost for most critters is 3 or under. and if titan doesnt work or is removed Emeria, the sky ruin gets him back. Sun Titan and Kami of False Hope is so fun.

Shagoth Let me know what you think, its early in the process. i am interested in y

That being said, solid includes in general include Abbey Matron , Brightling , Ensouled Scimitar (probably too slow but hey, +5/5 is wicked), if you're up against someone going wide, Give No Ground could be good, Honor Guard is really not bad, Might of Oaks is wicked, Ornamental Courage is Giant Growth with a free untap, Shape the Sands is super Giant Growth, Shield Mate is a solid bluff, Steady Aim is super Titanic Growth , Thornling , and Abzan Beastmaster ?
