Weedling on Not your typical spell slinger

king-saproling Untapping her is a great way. Im thinking of Burst of Strength ( untap plus ping prevention), Emerald Charm, Ornamental Courage, Stony Strength and Sudden Spinnerets.

Reason being they are instants. So that they may trigger the Krark once more. What are your thoughts?

Knowledge Pool lean towards win-more card to a key piece to this deck. Will miss it.

However, Possibility Storm sounds fun! Definitely giving it a shot in near games.

Hi, thanks for the deck! Your lists are always a good inspiration :) I was thinking of throwing myself together a green heroic deck to go together with my white heroic deck (greatly inspired by your Jedi training camp!) and I think Titanic Brawl is even sweeter than Pounce. I was also thinking if Stony Strength could find its way in, but not sure for what to swap it...

I havent playtested your deck so keep your own feeling regarding your deck in mind. I did have a simic counters deck for a while, here are my observations at a glance:

Simic Ascendancy is a fun win-condition, but against a lot of fast decks its gonna be a waste of your mana and time. I'd say include 2 in the main board (or even 1, if you often have it in hand but never cast it) and move the rest to your sideboard, then board them in for longer games.

I can see you are on a budget; if you have the pennies to spare I highly recommend Incubation Druid. Its a powerhouse, especially combined with Stony Strength which you already run 4 of.

Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner is sweet, but none of your creatures are ever going to enter the battlefield with power 4, so it is kind off a non-bo. If you want ramp, I suggest Kiora's Follower instead, as it combos very well with New Horizons and Incubation Druid. You can also consider playing Llanowar Elves or Arboreal Grazer, they are cheap and offer more creatures.

With your one copy of Jace, Jace's Triumph is hardly worth it. Tezzeret's Gambit seems more synergistic with the deck.

Very funny!

A +1/+1 counter version would work very well with this as the big problem is you are only getting 1 use out of your creature and aura enhancers.

Save your board with: Stonehoof Chieftain, Heroic Intervention, Inspiring Call, Kamahl's Will, Mortal's Resolve, Timber Protector, Outmuscle, Song of Freyalise, Nissa, Who Shakes the World, Vivien Reid, Withstand Death

+1/+1 counters for ya: Hunger of the Howlpack, Blessings of Nature, Stony Strength, Hardened Scales, Ironshell Beetle, Llanowar Reborn, Sylvan Awakening

Indestructible creatures for ya: Bellowing Elk, Icehide Troll, Impervious Greatwurm, Myojin of Life's Web, Nylea, God of the Hunt, Rhonas the Indomitable, Predator Ooze, Thornling, Wily Bandar, Majestic Myriarch

Really nice deck. Have you considered any other untap effects, since the exert I’ve always found to be pretty slow without them. Stony Strength would be my top recommendation, just one mana and a permanent buff is pretty nice. Gift of Growth, Aim High and Sudden Spinnerets are all pretty decent too, although you probably won’t want too many more. Hope this is helpful to you, really enjoy this deck.

Stony Strength is an excellent combat trick that does exactly what this deck wants. use it when your opponent attacks and have a surprise blocker

BRG24 Thanks for giving the deck a look! So with Season of Growth I think there is some good value there for the scry trigger with all the tokens dropping, but unfortunately since copied spells are not technically "cast" I dont think it would trigger any card draw after the first. Silverfur Partisan is definitely an interesting route to explore since it would grow exponentially.If there are some efficient wolf token generators, that might be a good thing to explore. I love Giant Growth, I think depending on the matchup, the trample from Barge In might be more helpful? I could go either way on that one. But now Stony Strength is a whole new ballgame. The untap on that would make for a pretty huge swing if the opponent attacks into your tapped out board. I'll start looking at the wolf generating, and if I can find something efficient it might be worth splashing green just for stony strength. Really awesome suggestions Thanks!
