War's Toll 's second ability is not a replacement effect, though it looks similar to one as it starts with "If." It's a static ability that modifies the rules (a category many replacement effects also fall into). What it does is, when you declare an attack with a single creature and you have others that could attack, you check whether the attack is legal. War's Toll comes back and says, "No, not a legal attack as that other creature could attack," and you go back to choosing which which creatures attack so you can declare a legal attack. It's like if you tried to attack with just a Bonded Construct . Remember that all attackers are declared at the same time.

My suggestion to make it unique and able to have a big top end:

-2 [0] Barrow Ghoul

-1 [0] Renegade Freighter

-1 [2] Bonded Construct

+4 [4] Gurmag Angler

That big 5/5 body will solve your size issue, and it will consistently cost 1B or B cost to play.

@CinnaToastKrunch During the prerelease of kaladesh I played with Reckless Fireweaver and noticed how good it was to play with vehicles, Thraben Inspector is just an auto include for this deck. Bonded Construct and Ardent Recruit are played in a pauper artifact deck by a friend of mine and they both fit the roll for the vehicle deck, the instants I just started going through every artifact interacted spell I could find. It's solid to play the only problem is there is basicly no card draw.

As with a lot of the green decks I see, I think focusing on either an aggressive stompy strategy or a heavy-hitting ramp strategy could be useful.

For ramp, I'd try to up the green symbol count to make Karametra's Acolyte shine. Devotion also gives access to Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Nylea's Disciple, and potentially Aspect of Hydra. Aside from mana dorks, Elvish Piper and Quicksilver Amulet are some cool tools to bring in the bombs. Some other big guys that I've messed around with before are Liege of the Tangle, Engulfing Slagwurm, and Primordial Hydra.

A stompy plan sticks closer to the low end of the curve. Experiment One, Avatar of the Resolute, Strangleroot Geist, and Leatherback Baloth are some possible curve plays. You probably can't afford to play anything much bigger than an Obstinate Baloth or Thragtusk without dipping back into ramp though.

In either case, I don't think the artifacts are adding much here that green cards couldn't do better. At the very least, I'd cut the Ornithopter, Bonded Construct, and Juggernaut to bring the deck down to an even 60.

I think I have too much time on my hands. XD

Hi! Very nice build, I'd tweak it a little bit though:-I'd play Court Homunculus instead of Elite Vanguard,-Replace 4 mountains and 4 plains with artifact lands,-Replace Raise the Alarm for something that synergizes with a deck even better, perhaps Master's Call

and I'm not completely sold on that one but replacing Eager Construct with Bonded Construct might have a positive impact on a deck.
