$50 Overall budget; i hate to be political, but keeping this deck under $50 is a FEAT in this stupid economy. I'll have to put in some more cuts before it can compete again. I do enjoy this deck quite a bit--it's my favorite of the 10 budget decks I keep in rotation.

Primer: ignore the colors, ignore the budget: this is a control deck. The General plays like all those mono blue genre favorites--you slow the game down when necessary (i.e., when they aim at you), avoid being THE threat, and as the opponents whittle down late, start pumping out golems, and they can't catch you.
