Thrilling Discovery
Sorcery
You gain 2 life. Then you may discard two cards. If you do, draw three cards.

Hey SufferFromEDHD, thanks for the input.
Heartwarming Redemption is a good card but I think I would go for Valakut Awakening Flip if I wanted that effect. Same thing except for the life gain and graveyard synergy, but in exchange it’s one mana cheaper, a land when I need it, and lets me hang onto things I don’t want to pitch. The reasons I’m not running it are really that it’s not card advantage unless I have my commander out to take advantage of the cards I pitch and I’m hesitant about a more etb tapped lands, but it’s great card selection and if my commander is out I can use the artifacts I pitch so I’ve gone back and forth about including it.
Thrilling Discovery is also a good card, but I think I would rather run more Conjurer's Bauble or Chromatic Star effects over it. They are effectively 2 mana draw three with an upside when my commander is out and have more overall synergy with the deck.
As for Mox Tantalite I did run it for a little while, but I ended up cutting it. Once it was in the grabeyard it’s a great target for my commander, but I really never wanted to be suspending it and waiting three turns so it was too slow unless I could pitch it directly to the graveyard and this deck doesn’t have enough self mill/discard to do that super reliably.
I appreciate the ideas though and will consider them more when I’m tinkering with the deck.

You currently have no easy way to start your milling process - you need a way to initially chuck cards into the graveyard quickly, so that you can start Dredging. Options include Satyr Wayfinder, Stitcher's Supplier, Glimpse the Unthinkable, Hedron Crab, Lotleth Troll, Tainted Indulgence, Otherworldly Gaze, Cathartic Reunion, Thrilling Discovery, Shriekhorn

zapyourtumor Thanks for the tips, but I’ve actually found the looting effects to be the best options I have, especially when I’m not using fetchlands. I’m consistently getting Delerium by turn 2, especially if I’m getting a Cathartic Reunion or Thrilling Discovery. As for the Channeler, I tried it and I found it didn’t work the way I wanted it too with the deck.

» Removed Sword of Body and Mind in favour of Thrilling Discovery - More card draw the better. TY JD
» Removed Demystify in favour of Disenchant - extra CMC but offers variety

In a self-mill/discard deck, all those symbols in the upper right corner are just decoration. You could run it alongside Thrilling Discovery if you wanted.

Thrilling Discovery (better Cathartic Reunion)
Bitter Reunion (can help give a gearhulk haste later)

I'd put in 4 Dragon's Rage Channeler and 4 Unholy Heat. Even if Marauder doesn't hit a Topplegeist, hitting one of those two spells is still really strong. Heat is also just one of the strongest removal spells in the format right now.
Mishra's Bauble is a very good card to help you reach delirium, although it might be a bit expensive.
In general, I've found that looting effects (Thrill of Possibility, Cathartic Reunion, Thrilling Discovery) aren't that great in delirium decks. Delirium decks want to get 4 card types in the yard, so stuff that fills the graveyard like Dragon's Rage Channeler along with a bunch of strong midrange creatures, instants, and sorceries usually works pretty well. Looting effects are a lot better at getting specific cards in the graveyard (which basically only applies to Demigod and Kroxa here) for decks like reanimator or dredge, so they are definitely a lot weaker in a deck like yours that only wants to hit delirium.
