Dud cards: Conclave Guildmage Conclave's Blessing Rallying Roar + a lot of the convoke cards

Why is Katilda, Dawnhart Prime in the deck?

I've seen Outlaws' Merriment flop a lot in Alex's deck

Consider conspire cards like Gleeful Sabotage and Wort, the Raidmother

Have you considered Plargg, Dean of Chaos  Flip Augusta would ball in this deck?

I always suggest a little bit of creature sacrifice in a deck like this. Here's some suggestions: Perilous Forays Martyr's Cause Goblin Bombardment Fanatical Devotion Evolutionary Leap Tooth and Claw Makeshift Munitions Barrage of Expendables. When you swing out, shit's gonna get killed so it's nice to make the most of your creatures. Plus these cards do great against board wipes.

Consider these land sacrifice cards: Sylvan Safekeeper Squirrel Wrangler Goblin Trenches Constant Mists Aura Fracture

Also consider adding anthems to drive the win home if you think you will struggle with winning.

Prosperous Partnership slaps and I suggest you reconsider it.

Additional card suggestions: Neyali, Suns' Vanguard Roar of Resistance Arasta of the Endless Web Intangible Virtue Divine Visitation Inspiring Leader Legion Loyalty

Crow_Umbra on Salty Commanders!

grumbledore, yes exactly! Basically any effects like Light Up the Stage, Prosper, Tome-Bound (everyone's favorite non-Simic, Simic commander), Neyali, Suns' Vanguard, Jeska's Will, etc.

Red still has plenty of its Faithless Looting effects for draw, but it definitely seems like the impulse/exile draw is the new design space they've been pushing over the past couple of years.

Lastly, is there any way to be a bit more discerning regarding combo pieces? I've noticed quite a few decks will have combo scores even if they only have 1 piece of a combo, but not the rest. In the combo section some of those decks will list the complete combo, and get scored for it, even if the other piece(s) aren't in the deck. I understand that may be challenging to pull off, but just thought I'd put it on your radar.

Thank you again for putting this tool together!

Hello,

Coming back after a 4 years break.

I just picked up the Emmara, Soul of the Accord and Neyali, Suns' Vanguard precon (love making tokens)

I was wondering If I was better off upgrading them separately or merging them together under a commander and which one other than Jetmir, Nexus of Revels.

Michigone on Isshin for a Fight

You know Crow-Umbra, the point you make about Neyali, Suns' Vanguard is a very valid point. I feel like I rely on my spot removal significantly to clear the way or remove stax or whatever. And having it stuck in exile where I might not be able to get to it would feel bad. I was thinking of revisiting Tectonic Giant as a switch because six damage to each opponent's face is 18 damage in a 4 player pod, which is not insignificant. The other card I was thinking of is Sigiled Sword of Valeron as it provides vigilance, which the deck could always use because of the amount of attacking it does, and it makes tokens - which is what the deck is all about - which also happen to be vigilant. And those tokens are knights, which is a small sub theme in the deck (the only support being Myrel, Shield of Argive, but still).

Thoughts?

I like your detailed update Michigone. I had a very similar realization with Emberwilde Captain & some of the other pillow fort effects.

They were clunky in that I wanted them to dissuade attacks at me, but their benefits happened if people attacked me. Often times people I played against would remove either Isshin & tank through standard triggers from the pillow effects, or removed the pillow effect all together.

I may re-examine Neyali, Suns' Vanguard at some point as a potential swap with Professional Face-Breaker. I do like that Face-Breaker is kind of like a Tymna the Weaver, except with treasures & impulse. Neyali's "no time limit" is cool, I just didn't like having my instant speed protection/removal stuck in impulse, & hampering that reactive element.

Drawing in these colors is a balancing act that takes plenty of playing to see what feels right.

My only knock against Helm of the Host is that it's 9 total mana to cast & equip to something.

Marton Stromgald is a decent swap Michigone. I'd also recommend checking out Delina, Wild Mage as another potential swap with Marton. The tokens she creates aren't Legendary.

I'd also recommend Grave Titan as a potential swap with Sun Tian. Creates tokens on both ETB & attack, if that's something you'd like.

In case you haven't seen them, there are a few new creatures in All Be One main & commander sets that are worth a look at:

Thank you for cool the suggestions DawnsRayofLight. I've played Seasoned Dungeoneer a bit in my Burakos, Party Leader/Folk Hero deck before I swapped it out. I totally forgot about Caves of Chaos Adventurer.

My playgroup has a house rule where we introduce Monarch into our games at the end of the third turn rotation. The person going last in turn order becomes Monarch at the end of that turn. I think I may have placed some of the Initiative cards on back burner because I didn't want to have my group track both Monarch and Initiative/Under City at the same time.

Otharri and Neyali are both pretty cool tech. I think the Equipment Voltron Isshin lists are going to get some of the most tech with the newer equipment in the pre-con. I've been play-testing Neyali, Suns' Vanguard a bit in the slot I have Professional Face-Breaker rn. The impulse draw from Neyali is cool for some second-main set up, but feels a little annoying when she impulses some of my instant speed removal & protection.

I'm also testing Mondrak, Glory Dominus in the slot I have Leonin Warleader rn. Norn's Decree is also interesting. Hoping my submission will be live soon.
